2009 Visual Purchase Thread 01
Oh the Nori Kobari book is thin? Thanks for the info! I was thinking about buying it at one point but passed on it for some reason I can't remember (maybe it was because of the page count...). It has a very tempting cover though. :D~~
The lighting in these isn't the best, but it gives you an idea of what's in it!
Here are some pictures from Kazue Yamamoto's Art Book:

And here are some pictures from the second Naruto Illustrations book. The majority of the illustrations are from Shippuden, but there are some from outside it.

Thanks for the pics~ On second thought, maybe I don't want the fat round bird book XD

Let me proudly post my new (first ever) purchased artbooks. I only got to know artbooks just recently and I really like them, so I searched all around to find some. I was studying for a couple of months in Taiwan, so I looked around to find something over there. I found a shop at the Taipei Main Station Underground Mall which was a little bit cheaper than the online shops. So I bought 2 books (Pixiv Girls Collection / Zealotic Blade Zero).

For Zealotic see nat's scans ( Blade scans), most of them are from the artbook. thanks nat for those Zealotic Blade scans, it made me decide on buying the book, just love those kitty's.
Some pics of what to expect in Pixiv collection.
If I only had more time or brought more money at that time I would have bought more books. And the one I really was looking for (Kei's Gallery) was sold out :(

Nice buys :D How is the price mark-up in Taiwan? I would think it would be less since shipping costs would be lower, but you never know!
Well, I think I paid around 1800 NT dollar (~55 US dollar) for these two together. Dunno the price each, cause on the labels I should have paid 2000 NT. So the best thing is to stock up when your in Asia ^^ ... And that is exactly what I will be doing next time :P
So many nice books out there!

Amazon.co.jp order that arrived today. Not alot of stuff. I've got another shipping soon (hopefully... Clannad Afterstory artbook delayed it a few weeks).

Oooh very nice~ I have about half of those books (4/7). They're all nice :D Mind taking some photos of that pixiv 2009 year book for us?
Sure! I haven't looked at it properly yet, but it looks to be pretty amazing. Especially since it's like 250 pages.

I want that one too :D I really like the Pixiv Girls Collection, so this one had to be good too! Looking at the pictures I recognize some that are the same as in Girls Collection, but those 250 pages make it all worth! Really nice buys m8
Pixiv Yearbook looks nicer than I thought, thanks for the pictures! :D Makes for a nice index too when trying to find some artists on the site.
I have a question about the book in the bottom right corner: what's in it? XD I've seen those on sale before, there's like a series and another features Tsundere girls, but I wasn't sure if there were a lot of illustrations in it.

Akibablog has a little writeup about it... be warned it's slightly ecchi as the theme of the book is pantsu! I haven't actually looked through that one yet either. When I flipped through it there seemed to be a decent number of actual illustrations, but I'll check it out in detail when I get home.
