As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

Even though I resolved to not buy many calendars this year, I'll probably still end up with 4-6 ;_; A lot of preorders are up on amazon and yesasia. I haven't seen cdjapan put up theirs yet.

I'm planning on getting Bleach and Naruto (my usual), Pandora Hearts, and Kobato. Dunno which other ones will tempt me. I was hoping for an 07 Ghost calendar, but I haven't seen it announced anywhere. Anybody got any news?

So~ What's everybody getting this year?

I think I'm going to get the Kara no Kyoukai one and the Evangelion one, which will hopefully have better new pictures since they introduced a new character this year :) Keepin' it simple! \o/

Yeah, based on the cover the 2nd Bleach one probably is all based on the current arc the anime is running, which has nothing to do with the manga. :(
