Ehh My computer is a fully modded out HP. hehehehe Yeah I'm crazy.
Motherboard: Asus P4SD-LA
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 with HT, 2.6 GHz
CD drives: Some generic DVD-Rom 16x I brought at compusa to replace original one that broke.
HP DVD burner
Hard drives: Seagate 300GB (ATA IDE 133), 300GB Maxtor external, 160GB Iomega external
Sound card: Creative SB Audigy 2 ZS Platinum pro (one with external interface hub)
Video card: ATi x1600 Pro (AGP 8x)
Ram: Micron & Corsair 512mb sticks filled up on all 4 slots, So total of 2GB Ram.
Power Supply: Enermax Liberty 500w. (yeah overkill but I'm going to take it out when my new computer totally bulit and use it in the new one)
What else? Oh yes I have upgraded cooling which is Zalman CPU heatsink and all LED fans. I got UV reactive cables. Also dual cathode UV light tubes. Plus a cut side panel with a dremel and with polycarbonate window. :)
I use my computer for about everything.
Edit videos and ripping videos and music.
Its one of my audio setups for my speaker rig and headphone rig.
Its my gaming rig. (mainly first person shooter games like Counter Strike)
Its also my storage for data too! (got plenty of space on hard drives)
And finally its for graphic art work. (Photo editing and what not, Of course making wallpapers!)

Heres my new computer in progress (not really its going to stay like that for many months), Going to start buliding it up again next year. I don't acutally need a new computer now nor do I have money for good parts. My current computer is more than enough for me right now.

Gosh!! My computer isn't as great as those (shame on me)
So here is one of my computers:
A Compaq Contura 430C
CPU: don't remember, about 33Mhz I think
Ram: 8 Mb SMC
HDD: 230 Mb (yeah cool it can hold one anime episode!!)
OS: Win 3.11 for workgroup (isn't working don't have time to fix it) But Dos 7.2 works fine ;)
Some extras: diskette drive (no! no CD-rom drive), Swedish keyboard, and a 28K PCMIA modem!!
Here a pic:

I use it to vectorize with Illustrator CS2... Hum... Well no, not really I just have fun with some times playing Doom (on a another screen because this one is broken)
Ok seriously I have a better computer (well that’s not difficult) so here is it:
A dell dimension 8400 (great)
CPU: 2.8Ghz Pentium 4 HT
Ram: 512Mb DDR2 400Mhz (want 512mb more!!)
HDD: 3HDD: 80 + 160 + 200 Gb, all SATA
OS: XP pro sp1 (working fine, I have reinstalled it a few weeks ago)
GC: ATI Radeon X300 SE (the one that is used to view the performance of other cards because this one is the worst for any kind of test)
A HL-DT-ST cd-rom writer and a Philips 1660P1 DVD writer (not a bad one, no problem at all)
What else...
A pinnacle TV card and a diskette drive, a modem (all unplugged, useless)
Here is a pic:

So I use this computer for every think from leeching anime (the 160 and 200 Gb drive a full of about 90% of anime) to hang on IRC.
The black point of this computer is the graphic card, the rest is enough (maybe 512Mb of RAM would help when using Illustrator and Catia but it's not vital or maybe getting an old 80Gb drive to make a Raid0)
I haven't change much things on it except HDD DVD drives and TV card, When I will have some more money I will be able to make one by myself (Already made on myself but it was for my parent so I made it the less expensive as possible, about 300€ for something correct)
Ops nearly forgot to say that I use a 15" LCD screen (It's so great on illustrator when the icon are shown you only have a small place to work with... (About 400*400pt. lol so great when working on 1600*1200 wall... It's so frustrating!)
By the way ElectroPoint nice pic... I especially love the book... :)

Neb, That case is pretty odd... Something new to me. Thats one different design the way it opens up. Plus the cooling system design seems compromised. (1 fan serving as case and CPU cooling? Oh yes forgot you also have the fan in the Power supply that acts like a case fan too. lol)
Oh by the way glad you like my manga laying next to my computer case. ^_^
Also is that computer you listed first a laptop? You should see this old Compaq 386 I have. It weighs a ton. The floppy disks used for it are probably like 5 inches wide. (or about 13cm) Big and old school right? :)

LoL ya old school... (Well mine is 3.5" so it's still "OK") But for ventilation you are right it's not very preferment but because the CPU is 2.8Ghz it don't heat too much and the graphic don't need any ventilation. and because the fan is alone it's the big one that don't do much sound (and I also noticed that even after 5 hour of intensive system stress the speed of the fan don't reach his top speed)
And yeah I love this case, not for the opening system (well it's quiet useful because no screw or anything) but it's how it built in, all drive cards and other can be taken away in few second because there are no screw (well they screws but they are use to screw rail on the drive and then the whole thing is clip in)

As I said in my introduction topic, computer parts are quite expensive here in The Netherlands and you haven't really got much choice either. Nevertheless I have build a pretty sexy PC 1 year ago with the few coins I had. Specs:
-Sunbeam Trio Silver case
-Tagan 480Watt PSU
-ASUS A8N-SLi Mobo
-AMD A64 3500+ Processor (2,2GHz)
-ThermalTake Big Typhoon Cooler.
-2 Gig Kingston Valueram DDR
-XFX 6600GT vidcard (I'll finally replace this by a XFX 7950GT extreme next month)
-WD 250GB SATA2 HDD
-NEC DVD reader and burner
-Floppy drive
-Sunbeam 120mm fan front intake
-Sunbeam 80mm LED fan side panel intake
-Aerocool Turbine 1000 120mm LED fan rear exaust
-Logitech black internet keyboard
-Logitech MX518
-Razer eXactmat + eXactrest
-Benq 17" 8ms Monitor
-Logitech Precision Gaming Headset

GoldenApe: You have a pretty cool setup considering that parts are expensive to get. You sure do have some nice parts in your computer BTW.
Just a note is that you should invest in a larger monitor, thats all my advice is. ^_^

Well thank you, I indeed consider buying a new monitor some day, but bigger and better also means more expensive, eh ^_^. Plus, I don't know what size you had in mind, but I'm not about to buy a 19" monitor since the max resolution of such screen is exactly the same as a 17". So the pixels are basically stretched, giving the same effect as putting a 1024x768 wall as background on your 1280x980 desktop (well, a little less extreme, lol). True, 19" monitors offer better contrast ratio etc., but it's still a stretched 17" screen.
So imo it's better to look for a 20+ inch monitor with 1600x1200 support. But with the present technology, those things are a. expensive and b. not perfect (longer responcetime, higher temperatures, etc.).
Oh and I'm not going back to CRT, lol.
Acutally I myself have a Sony 19" LCD monitor running 1280x1024 which is it's max resolution output.
