Hofodomo has joined the battleground but he doesn't belong to an army yet. i figured with so many people not being able to continue in the battleground that it would be easy for him to find an army that will accept him.

^ you've already broke a rule as a hostess of the battleground.
People cant randomly just join in the group unless he/she was invitied to be part of an army.

True. Hofo will have to first contact an army leader. then after that army leader says "okay".. then he joins.

I think we don't need to be too strict with that rule, specially when there's so many people dropping out. i just told annex in a pm that you guys can start recruiting. only solid wallers would be recruited i imagine. hofo's a good waller, i'll take him if he wants ;)

Chibi; you do not add a recent news about free plots and saying that EVI bought them out first.
Thats damn right abusive of power. YOU have to announce it and wait until the end of the day of how many people who wants to buy land.. not vica versa where you you immedatly buy the land before announcing there was free land to buy.

Although as a member of Evi, I do consider the head first of getting land advantage, but it should be fairer, it is rather too quick that we just suddenly bought most of the land (even tho we have so much...)

That is a totally unfair accusation you make, Shadow_Dude. If you refer back in this thread; the land has been freed up since befroe Chibi took over from Gid the battlegrounds admin.
First, chibi poses the question of what happened to Ramen's land, because Gid hadn't yet updated the map:

In fact, though, this is all already detailed in the rules:

So Chibi was merely clarifying the situation. As far as the whole game goes, the land that previously belonged to Ramen has been sitting free ever since the results of that battle were posted. It's just that this was not noted on the front page, and the map wasn't updated, so perhaps you weren't aware about it.
There were at least 3-4 days in between those posts linked above and the date Chibicrystal took over.
Also, for about a day or two before EVI bought over the freed land, there had been a map of the free land on the front page, posted by Gid, I think. I recall that at that point in time we in EVI were having our own discussions about strategy and how much of the land to buy, and it took us a day or two to decide our course of action.
It just happend that we executed our land purchase just after Chibi took over from Gid. Before that, there had already been a few days fair explicit notice that the land was available, both on the front page and in this thread. And implicitly via the wording of the rules as well.
Subsequently, once chibi got hold of the map from Gid, it was duly updated and posted to the front page.
I ask that you retract your accusations against Chibicrystal. I could excuse you for being unsporting, but she doesn't deserve this for offering her time and effort to keep the battlegrounds going.

But You still didnt as hell explain why she updated the notice with the note of saying Evi bought most out of it. <Thats the only thing that really ticks me off really.
Eh and one more thing; i dont really trust her as a hostess. Get that? Cant really force me to trust her until a little a while if she does any good at it.

lol thanks for taking the time to post the references hamster! glad i wasn't the only one that noticed the land had been up for grabs for quite a few days. the reason i posted evi bought most of it is because there's still land up for grabs. i was hoping ramen would buy it but iidfwp can still grab it.
personally, i don't really care if i have to 'earn' your trust shadow. but we'll just have to see how the battleground progresses. i know i've had lots of fun with it and i just didn't want to see it die off.

Dioma and I could have bought some of the land, but we had no idea how much EXP we had, since it hasn't been updated/posted for quite a while. I realize you PMed them out, but since I'm co-leader of Ramen with Dioma, I'd appreciate it if you'd send it to me as well in the future. It's a lot easier that way.

Gotcha soylatigre :) actually, i would like all the armies to figure out who for sure is staying/going and who's second in command. then update the recruits list if you can. for instance, hamster is going to be taking quite a long break from the battlegrounds but says he'll still stop by to edit our list, etc...
i'll make sure to send pm's to both the generals and the seconds. let me know who you are ;)
