Depends on your EXP I guess... Ramen has only 8 plots but apparently lots of EXP o_O

I can't give you actual exp levels
Waitaminute, which is it; you don't have the exact exp, or you're just not making them public? There's a spreadsheet to do the number crunching, right?

yeah, well unfortunatly being at a funeral while all the land was bought up really sucks.
that aside...i thought it was who won th emost land...not just who had it. because imo, that seems a bit unfair. someone could have a crap load of land because they're quicker with PM's, but not have won any, or even lost some, but yet they can still win.
i'm not saying being in last place matters to me at all, but this is just what gid said to me after i was at my funeral, and i came back to having no land, which was kinda disappointing as you might imagine (yes, the funeral did take up an entire weekend because i was out of town). Just wondering. :/
Yeah, some people had work...

@~Hamster: not making them public (i have everything in a spreadsheet)
@kalico: the reason i had said that is cuz alot of us thought you guys would win on all your skill. even though you guys didn't have much land, the more you challenge and win, the more land you'll have. and i'm sorry you guys were busy (specially you kalico, i recently had someone pass away as well), but that's why you should always have a second that can take over >_<'

granted. but what i was saying was that for example...my army won 3 plots of land in total. and ramen lost all of hers. so, if we were to go by how gid said it would be tallied up, because we won 3 plots of land, we would rank over ramen, who lost all theirs, and any amry who only lost theirs or just didn't win any. i only used myself as an example because i actually know how much land we won lol.because, even to me, it seems more like a war that way. cause...lets say the china got in a war with new zeland. and new zeland won a whole bunch of battles, so they got a small area in china, and then, the war ended. china wouldn't win the war because they had the most land. new zealand would have for conquering the land and winning the battles. get me?
but whatever. it doesn't really matter to me, it just doesn't make sense -shrugs-
EDIT:
not to be a bitch...but out of curiosity, i just spoke to gid about it thinking maybe i heard her wrong...and she confirmed what i thought about the final scores. she said i could post the convo here since she won't log into AP.
(behind a spoiler for space)
SPOILER (click to view)
yeah, so i didn't do it to be a bitch, but i didn't find it fair...and i didn't think it made sense. besides the fact it contradicted what gid told me. >_>
also, the reason i never appointed a second to buy land was because since i was told it was how much land you won, not how much you bought that it just didn't matter. had i been told..."OMG IT'S ON HOW MUCH LAND YOU OWN IN THE END!" i would have appointed someone to buy it in my absence :3

Ranking the armies by 'land won' doesn't work as well. Armies who bought large amounts of land at the beginning would get a lower place than those who bought little. Say, if two armies were defeated, one would rank higher over the other because they bought less. Like you said, the whole 'buying land' thing is just who PMed faster.
Either way, it's too late to make any major overhauls to the system. I'm fine with things either way- It's all just for fun, when it comes down to it.

I was never up for land, weapons and EXP at all. I thought this will be like most graphic clans in different forums: small groups of people having wallpaper battles for fun. I think that some members are taking it too seriously. The current situation of Ramen makes me feel upset only for one reason... we are only touching two armies.
And Kalico, just battle for land, you have a strong army and if you lost a land battle you wouldn't loose anything, or so I understand.

erm...technically it's not an overhaul of the system. it would be a correction, sinc egid made the contest and all...and she says it's incorrect.
and what you just said now makes the whole thing make even less sense than previously mentioned.
no offense, but ramen got raped and lost all their land and were forced to start from scratch. so, how could they possibly come in third. experience is basically money, and you can't buy a victory as far as i know. yeah, it helps...like buying weapons and such, but even so, it wouldn't allow you to win a war >_>
in terms of war, the judging just makes no sense. thats my point. but whatever.
and can i ask why the first link to the rules (that gid makes in an update) links to this?:

To jump in... we won either 3 or 4 plots of land from TLM for our first challenge - http://www.animepaper.net/group/battleground/discussions/27597/ :p
Overall though I do agree with the keeping track of wins based on amount of land won.
And since I think most of us are kind of dead/busy/away, if this is continuing, I think some type of merge would be in order :p

As much as I remember USA lost the war in Vietnam. Vietnam = small, USA = big. So the power is not in the land size... Ok, that was a bad exmple >.> ignore me.
*sigh* because of one loss Ramen is in a bad situation *fakes a sob*
>.> this is an anime wallpaper "war", where did the "happy to take part in this" spirit go?
@flyindreams
Merges can work.
When school finally starts (*shivers*) my own activity will seriously drop ._. ewww school >.>
tigerRanking the armies by 'land won' doesn't work as well. Armies who bought large amounts of land at the beginning would get a lower place than those who bought little.
no no no... I'm quite confused by this, but, what they bought in the beginning have NOTHING to do with they're potential to win #. SO, I don't understand how this is possible that armies who bought large amounts of land in the begining would have a disadvantage at all...
tigerSay, if two armies were defeated, one would rank higher over the other because they bought less. Like you said, the whole 'buying land' thing is just who PMed faster.
Well... that part of the strategic thing. also. realize that if you bought more land, then it's actually an advantage to you. Because technically, You're touching more armies, which gives you more chances, and more armies to challenge. unlike... Crimson, who at first, were only touching 2 armies.
And, like Kalico said, It wouldn't be a change to the system, it'll be changing back to the original Intent. Just a bit more work for chibi xp xD to recalculate. poor chibi.
