I wouldn't mind it lasting, say about, two months ... maybe even three. Over that amount might make it seem to drag out and people might lose interest. I wouldn't, but some people seem to have short attention spans XD . As long as it's kept interesting and dynamic then it shouldn't matter, right? Well, unless it goes on for years ... that would just be awkward.
Lol i think if it would last to long that the moderaters/bosses can call forth armageddon and destroy some lands :P would make the game a bit shorter then

July-August it's a good time for events, actualy there are summer holidays in the north hemisphere. But the last days of August people like me has weddings and so.
