After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Amendments

Miscellaneous: Once Gideon goes to bed, the day has ended for her. Therefore, any orders, or battle entries, must be received before she goes to bed.

The Rules

Battling: To battle, you must start a thread, stating in the title whom it is you'll be battling. Within the thread should be the Rules of War. These Rules should cover the following: the Theme, any size restrictions, any particular Style (grunge, vector, fingerpainting, etc), the deadline, and the EXP you're waging. You cannot wage more EXP than the maximum of the challenged army, and you cannot wage less than 10EXP. Also, there should be no other posting done within a battle thread, save the responding post from the leader of the challenged army.

Afterwards, voting will be done by a nonpartisan army. Whoever has the highest percentage of wins will win the war. The size of the spoils depends on the lead of the winning army. If Army A beats Army B by 1%, they're not going to get a very large chunk of land. But if A won by 83%, then they'd get a huge ass piece of land. Also, after during a battle, an army has to wage a certain amount of EXP. If the challenger wins the battle, they keep their EXP, and get EXP from the opposing army, equal to the amount waged.

When battling, an army has to have to bet enough EXP for the land they want as if they were just buying it. So, if Army A wants 25 plots of land from Army B, then Army A would have to wager 125EXP. As previously stated, how much land an army gets depends on how much they win by. If Army A wins by 100%, then they would get all 25 plots of land. If they won by a lesser percent, they would get less land, accordingly. If the challenging army loses, the challenged army does not receive land, only EXP.

An army can battle for as many squares of occupied land as they want, but these lots must be touching.

One on One battles are allowed, for EXP only, and must use the same rules as a normal battle. Otherwise, it must include the whole army.

Only one battle at a time please, unless your army feels adventurous. -___- It is also in the best interest of time to make your battle last at maximum three weeks. Two weeks is the ideal, although one week is optional, if your army can do it.

Also, any battles started that do not adhere to the rules will be deleted.

Voting: Voting will be done by three members of a nonpartisan army. After each battle is done, the walls will be sent to Gideon, who will in turn post them anonymously in a secure place (to avoid ripping of the currently signature-less walls). That means no posting of walls on any site before the voting is done, and no signatures on the submitted walls. Once the voting is done, the walls will be posted in the battle thread, and can be posted wherever the waller pleases.

Instead of voting win/lose, or giving walls scores, walls will be voted on with +'s and -'s. If, after overlooking a wall, the voter finds it of good quality, then they will give that wall a +. If the wall is not quite up to par, then it will receive a -. The wall will receive its score on a two out of three basis (a.k.a. if two people give it +'s, then it get's a plus). Afterwards, the scores are tallied and made into percentages. The army with the highest percentage of wins, wins the battle.

EXP (Experience Points. Duh.): To start out with, each army has 50 EXP. To claim any vacated land, an army just needs to have enough EXP. The amount of each piece of land depends on its size. The idea is to get as much land as you can. Why? Because at the beginning of each day (a.k.a. every time Gid logs in each day) you get EXP from your land. If A owned three plots of land worth 50 EXP each, then they'd get 150 EXP each day. The more EXP an army has, the easier it is for them to conquer land. Not only that, but they'll also be able to buy weapons that will help insure their win. The only other way to gain EXP is through winning a battle. If the challenger wins, they get EXP from the challenged army, and vice versa for the challenged army.

Each Headquarters, regardless of size, will only earn each army 10EXP a day.

Armies that are COMPLETELY surrounded (all their land, plus their hub and HQ) will recieve two-times their normal daily EXP for five days after the world is filled.

Weapons: If an army has enough EXP, they can also buy weapons to help heighten their chances of winning. So, if A bought a Bomber, and decided to use it for a battle, then they'd get additional points (12%). But say B had an Anti-Air unit (8%, but takes down anything airborne units). Then A's Bomber would be canceled out, and B would get the points instead (only the 12%, not the additional 8% for their own).

Except for certain cases (such as Anti-Air units taking down all airborne units), in order for one army to cancel out the weapon of another army, they must have a weapon that will deal greater or equal damage to that of the opposing army. To keep things as fair as possible, each army's weapons will be kept secret, until the weapons are exposed. Like Rock, Paper, Scissors, an army will have to decide which weapon will be the best choice. If the opposing army does not have (or does not use) a weapon, then the army with the weapon can use their weapon to add to their overall score.

If both armies pull out weapons that cannot fight each other, then it is considered a draw, like Rock, Paper, Scissors, and both armies will be asked to draw another weapon. It can happen twice more before neither army gets the points. An example of the previous would be a Tank (Land Unit), versus a Fighter Plane (Air Unit). Due to their nature, neither weapon can attack the other. In general, Land Units can only attack other Land Units, Air versus Air, et cetera, unless otherwise stated.

If an army is battling for an ocean lot, then they can only use Air and Naval Units. The same goes for battles in the middle of a continent. Land and Air Units only. If the battle takes place on a coast, no matter how small, both can be used.

An army may only use one weapon per army, unless otherwise stated. The only people able to buy weapons are the leaders of each army. After each battle, your weapon cannot be used again.

A list of all weapons can be found here: WEAPONS

Conquering: To conquer vacated land/water, an army only needs to have enough EXP. However, to conquer occupied land (that isn't an army's headquaters), the armies (the conquering and the occupant) must battle for it. If the conquering army wins, then get their share of it. If the occupying army wins, they keep their land.

To conquer an army's headquarters, an army must at least equal the challenged army's EXP, and be touching the army's HQ. Then the armies must go through the usual battle. However, an army does not have to wage all their EXP; they can wage as much as they want per the normal rules. They only have to be on the same EXP level as the challenged army. If an army's headquarters are conquered, the army loses all it's land, and must start anew in Antartica. But the army will be able to keep all it's EXP, save what was lost in the battle. The conquering army will then have two HQ to operate from. For an army to get out of Antartica, an army can either wait five days, or pay 50EXP. The army will then set up a hub (but not a new HQ) in a place it chooses. If it wants another HQ, it must either conquer one, or go work its way back to it's original HQ, and conquer that.

The rules for conquering the Secondary HQ's (the other starting point) are the same as conquering the main HQ's, except for, an army only has to equal 75% the EXP of the other army.

You cannot conquer land that is not adacent to you.

Neutral Land: Antartica is the neutral zone. It cannot be conquered.

Attendance: Soldiers must be present for a war. If they can not attend a particular battle due to vacation, et cetera, then they must tell their army leader. If a soldier is gone, then it must be listed in the Recruits thread, and list the length of their holiday. If an army leader cannot attend, they must leave their Second-in-Command in charge of the army, and list themselves in the non-active list in the Recruits thread.

Soldiers that are AWOL, or that do not submit a wall, will lose 3% for their army's score.

Recruiting: Once the war starts, the group will be open to Join on Approval. However, in order to join, the person must already a member of an army (i.e. the person contacted the army leader and worked everything out), and listed in the Recruits thread. Anyone else who joins and is not part of an army will not be accepted.

Miscellaneous: Special awards will be given out at the end.

If an army decides that a soldier is not deticated enough to their cause, or does not have the army's best interest at heart, then the army may exile the soldier. If this happens, the soldier will be removed from the Battleground. They may join another army, but must sign up for the group again under the new rules of Recruiting.

Each army will be allowed to pick one lot, anywhere on the map, as their starting point. Then, from there on, they will have to hubs from which they can attack. Their Headquarters, however, must stay where it is.

The only time an army is allowed to turn down a challenge is if the wager is too large, or the challenging army does not have enough EXP to match the challenged army's for their HQ.

The Map
There are legends on the side for the armies' colours. I'm not changing them, because frankly it's not important.

Your logos are your Headquarters. That will not change!

White boxes are unclaimed land. Each box is worth 5EXP. The ocean and the land are treated the same as far as buying goes.

Surrounded areas are HQ’s and Secondary Hubs. Rules for conquering them are different.

The greyed out zone is Neutral territory. It cannot be claimed.

To buy land, PM Gideon with what you want to claim (i.e. We want the three boxes east of our Headquarters, etc).

MAP ME!

The Q and A

Q: Can we move somewhere else on the map? I don't want to be in [blank].
A: No.

Q: Can we defect?
A: No.

Q: Can we be a double agent?
A: Go right ahead. Your means of payment, etc, are up to you and the army employing you. If you are a double agent, and know what weapons your army has, you cannot tell the army employing you. Weapons are to be kept confidential.

Q: Can we ally with another army?
A: This is a bit of a grey area. If you were a wealthy army, and decided to ally with another wealthy army to crush out the competition before your battle to the death, then no, you cannot ally. However, if it's a last resort to help take down a larger/dominating army, then it will be considered. All requests for alliances must be approved by Gideon first through a PM. The PM needs to include the armies interested in an alliance, and why they want to be allied.

Q: What if a soldier goes AWOL (Absent without leave)?
A: For each AWOL soldier, it will be -3% for each battle.

Q: Does the ammount of soldiers of each battle on both sides needs to be the same, if there is for example a full army battle? (example 20 vs 20) ore is this something that can be stated in the seperate battle rules?
A:Size doesn't matter, so no, there doesn't have to be the same number on each side. It's just army versus army. That's why scores are based on percentages instead of actual points. Otherwise a larger army would win just because they have more people. The only time you can limit the number of people battling is when there's a one-on-one battle. Otherwise, it's the full army.

Q: Can you get land/exp without a battle?
A: Yes. If the land is unclaimed, then you can just buy it if you have enough EXP. But the only ways you can get EXP is through battling or owning land. For your HQ, you'll only receive 10EXP a day.

Q: Does the wall have to be an anime wall?
A: No. It can be of anything you want.

Q: Do all the walls have to be one big collab? Does everyone make their own? Or do we decide?
A: You decide. State it in the Rules.
