Well i'm Leshe. I'm thirteen years old(yep) and i live in Valdosta Georgia. Some of my favorites things are biking, reading, writing, and mostly art. One of the best books i read was one called 'Dear Daugther', by Denise George. My mom talks of the Lord much, and i grow to love what she preaches.

My favorite book of the bible as of now ... is probably Ecclesiastes. A nice verse is: 1 Peter 3:15

Ok, let's see, So I'm Jeremy, I'm 19 and I'm a Christian from Montreal, studying in Waterloo. I do have a bad habit of not reading my Bible enough, but i'm working on that.

Favourite verse is probably Psalms 121, I like it because it reminds us that God is always watching us, He is ever-vigilant and does not let you slip and fall. He may let you lose your balance from time to time to see if you reach out to hold His hand, but He'll never let you fall.

I don't really have a favourite book perse, though I do find Revelations and escetology very interesting.

I have to admit I really liked the chronicles of Narnia when I read it. When I look back, there was so many parallels with Christianity. Well, many is an understatement, it seemed to permeate through every book. Some are obvious (like Aslan) and others are much more subtle.

Just as a note, I also don't brand myself with a particular denomenation, because I try to find my answers directly based on the Bible. I also have a different way of seeing things and will often give analogies of how I think a passage should be interpreted. Dont worry about correcting me, I'd welcome a non-condecending correction grounded in Biblical truth, none of us know everything after all...

Anyway, it's nice to meet everyone and I hope we can have meaningful discussions in the time to come.

My favorite book is...basically all...but I particularly have raising interest in the book of Proverbs.
My favorite verse is:
Beatus vir qui suffert tentationem. Quoniam cum probatus fuerit accipiet coronam vitae (Iacobi 1:12), in latin or: Blessed is the man who endures temptation. For, once he has been tried, he shall receive the crown of life (James 1:12) in English. This verse is in the Elfen Lied opening song, Lilium.

I am a person with a scientific background and this makes me engage in any kind of scientific vs bible discussions. I tend to view bible in a scientific ways, and believe that faith and knowledge are but the same grow from the same root.

My favorite readings are mostly fictions. Those that make you think, than just following the story.
