Gosh, I'm SERIOUSLY wondering how to pronounce the title to Code Geass.. It isn't the "code" part that I'm wondering (obviously ¬__¬) its the GEASS...I've really been pronouncing it as "Gee-ass" but I want to be RIGHT when I pronounce it..So I'm wondering how you guys pronounce it...
no one's replied...
I'll reply! I'LL REPLY!
Haha! XD
Well anyway, in the anime they pronounce it more like "Gee-as" (at least to me), but in english, I just say "Gai-as" because I'm to lazy to say it properly! XD

XDD I've learned from the show that it is Gi-as-u (the you is like a bit silent..like how those Japanese people pronounce it) and Lelouch ( I just decided to add this in) is Lu-luch! XD its funny a bit.
Well since there is no real English pronunciation for it yet, we'll have to stick with the way they say it in the series itself.. though you can take out that 'u' at the end that they add to just about everything...
Without the Japanese accent-y, i pronounce it 'gee-ass' and then with it, it's 'gee-ah-su' lol xD

Code "gee-ass" (Gee as in "gi" not "G"). The japanese say "giasu" because they dont have an "ass" (lol) sound in there vocabulary.

i pronounce it with english mean "Gii-ass" or with my language "Geass". but i still like the japan pronounciation which is "Gi-as-u". i call lelouch as "le-louch" or "li-luch". the japanese pronounciation "lu-luch" is funny insnt it? ^_^

lol, plus the fact that most Japanese words end with vowel sounds (with the exception of those that end with the 'n') xD

lol, actually it's "gi-aa-su"(relatively-since there's no character for "as")
hahaha, before I watched Code Geass, i used to call Lelouch "le-louch" too xD but yes i like the Japanese pronounciation better :3 (plus it works better with his nickname "lulu" teehee~)

The japanese is Giasu
so, its Ghee-ahs (u is silent)

My way of pronouncing it is, "Gi-is". That's how I suppose the alphabet connection seem to be. ^-^. Actually there are a lot of things is CODE GEASS that have different pronunciation. Neh? Like, "Lamperouge", which I pronounce as "Lamper-rogu". But they pronounce as "Lamper-rujyu", right? So they're a lot, but maybe if you want, you can pronounce it like the way the anime do, that's when you don't know what's the 'real' one, neh? ^-^. Ganbatte! He he. ^-^
