Well yeah I'm sad but at the same time I'm really happy that something like that made me feel sad. It like ... it makes me feel alive you know...it makes me feel human.The only way I could feel this sad now is if I felt something really good before. So I have to take the bad with the good. So I guess what I'm feeling is a beautiful sadness.

No, he is my favorite character in the show.
How could he die, I thought once you obtained Geass in both eyes only another Geass could kill you no normal methods would work. Essentially eternal life. Besides CC is still alive, and thus their contract has never been completed. No all we need is another season to make me happy, but I know it won't happen

If Lelouch hadn't died all the evil in the world wouldn't have been blamed on him but rather on Damocles or on Nunnally . Lelouch didn't want people to recognize Damocles or his own sister as a source of sin but rather he wanted them to recognize LELOUCH LAMPEROUGE as the source. If he hadn't died, the world wouldn't have been satisfied with him as a ruler, as well as peace being only in dreams. Possibly, then a Code Geass R3, with a new cast. Lelouch was what stood between peace, so he had no choice but the Zero Requiem.
I agree with XLrina here. Lelouch made it so he had to die for peace. I wish he couldn't chosen a different way....like Suzuka...

I think it was a great ending, the death of Lulu was absolutely necessary, altough I don't think he's death. My question is how did Nunnaly see his memories at the end if he was mortal? Remember that Suzaku once saw CC's memories, but she's immortal!
He shouldnt have died he became a god of that world and he will never be forgotten for what justice he did
