A dispute occurred recently involving Hitome Sakura and Dias over a wallpaper that was thought to be a rip from yet another. A former community member Hitome insisted it was “my own work” and yet almost every detail paralled the original.
Fama-chan, a so called witness to the ordeal described it as “unfair” attempting to divert Dias’s choice of calling the wallpaper a “rip”. Furthering her attempts, she threatens Anime Paper of her departure to another website but prevailed.

Certainly nobody knows the origins of Hitome’s intention but it was described by Seto-kaiba as “unnecessary” and “a waste of time”. He also questioned “Why doesn’t she just admit it?”
While the issue has been concluded, Dias, an administrator for AP still holds on strongly that “outright plagiarism is something that Hitome Sakura is attempting to deny”.
Various sites of similar genre to AP have mentioned AP as “strict”. However according the AP Guide, it has been shown that this site is of “quality” wallpapers, not of “2nd rate” and certainly does not allow “ripped” wallpapers.

Wow great article! Its like a real newspaper! except for animepaper! I love it! I hope i see more of your reports soon. This place is very inactive but after i read your article i'm going to check more often! I think there should be like a newspaper for animepaper that the site sends to our emails. You should be an article writer and someone else be the editor or something. Thats a real cool idea.
