No, that's basics of RPG and the developers expect you to do that otherwise they wouldn't put items that only appear once randomly.

No, they expect you to cheat and look on the internet or strategy guides to find out about 'em and learn to reset and load so that the item becomes available, therefore, that's cheating since you resorted in looking at a strategy guide or internet for info about it.

Exactly my point, the minute you go check something on one of those two useful resource means, you and everyone else become a cheater, and I'm not saying that I don't also cheat, but on the first time around a game, I DON'T cheat with anything, whatever happens, happens, it's fun to see how much you can truly do without cheating or getting spoiled by someone else.

Sorry to disagree with you Iro, but I think he is pretty okay. I usually don't hate characters, but Seymour is a character I truly dislike. Using Yuna to become Sin, now that's messed up.

That's true, wakka can be a annoying at times, but his funny element is pretty good. The only part of him that I didn't like was him hating al bheds. Just because your brother died using a machina, doesn't give you the right to hate the people who use them. Poor Rikku! But he gets more understanding about it.

I do have the Excalibur, and I got it by myself, without consulting anything.

And I said to you that I didn't cheated on my first way around, but after I finished the whole story, I did.

And even though I did, I only consulted on how to find the remaining marks, I have yet to find the best weapons, which I already know how to get but haven't done it yet.

If you don't read any guides it's practically impossible to get the Zodiac Spear. They don't expect you to randomly don't open 4 chest in the whole world.

Usually it's like that, you get to almost the end of the story and you max your characters get items etc, but I knew before I started playing it that there were some chest i didn't have to open, and beating the whole game with 200+ hours to end without the weapon with most power of the game and have to star it all over again... no thanks.

But in compensation the ones I like (Ashe, Balthier, Lulu, Auron, Zidane, Garnet, Vivi, Tifa, Cloud and Redxi) I really love them =3

OH MY! You have some issues on hating characters. Jk. I kinda understand Yuffie and Selphie, but the rest why. Basch is awesome!

But I do have to say I do like Ashe, Auron, Cloud, Tifa, and Red Xi a lot. Aeries was my favorite character for the FFVII, its to bad she died.

I don't have the zodiac spear, it's virtually impossible to get it without consulting with a spoiling resource.

So you don't have the Zodiac Spear and don't have the Wyrmhero, do you have the Tournesol?

And if you don't have the Wyrmhero I'm guessing that either you didn't beat Omega or you haven't completed the fishing game.
