Looking toward the future
One less hour for everything.
The "Banner Contest" 404'ed. What. The. Hell.
Guess no one submitted, you can't run a contest with such minimum amount of people in the group.
I wanted a art contest, maybe a simpler one like vector a girl. Is done in 5-6 hours and would force us to do something. Brad annouce something, I don't mind even when 4-5 people join.
I claimed Dejiko! Come and claim your girl too in Frenzy Fanboys! We are stalking you from the Stalker Club!
I could make a card creation contest, but is still in development, so too bad 
Aki i cant do anything because lenaslover was in charge of the contests but she has disappeared. (We were meant to have a signature contest in february but that didnt happen coz lenaslover is not around.) And if i were to make a contest myself i would need help to advertise it which involves sending PMs to all the members. FF is in jeopardy of closing again if something doesnt happen soon. It is hard for me to do everything because i work alot and don't have the time to it by myself. If the other admins see this then voice your opinions too.
I think we need more staff to get this group running. If anybody is interested in being an admin or moderator who will be active then let me know because the 4 admins and 4 mods we have now evidently is not enough.
I say we get a serious discussion going here on the future of FF so dont be afraid to voice your opinions. I would especially like to hear from darklink, aika and LL. Thanks guys.

Im sending PM's now to the staff of FF telling them about the situation. (apart from you and Aki because you are already aware.) If im to "try to make it alive" i need all the admins and mods to help. I cant do it on my own. Theres just not enough communication between the staff. And also just saw that LL hasnt been on AP for over 2 months and mcz hasnt been for nearly a month.
I have here the feeling of "left hand don't knows what does the right". The current staff is 8 people and in my opinion should more then enough in number tough I would replace the less active ones. Like SWhisssper is always active and knows about FF, if he accepts, I would glad to see him in staff.

Four people (counting out the moderators, as their status is more of a meritocracy) would be too much, in my opinion. Even with this volume of members. It's not the administration's problem, it's what members think about it. Something along the lines "Oh, claim a random anime girl, yes? Sparkly banners and many members? Petit bourgeoisie, do want!". I believe they don't care as much about the group as about what they gain. Cynicism approved, most members think 3D is better than 2D and only care about the signature image (upon arrival, may diminish to nothingness in due time).
Possible solution: as PMs failed, last resort: ban-hammer ultimatum. Or just ban-hammer. Or maybe even cleaning the list of the people not active in AP even (say more than one or two months; barring invisible ones). Or any other way of changing how members view this group and forcing new members to take an oath of activity.
But don't worry...

Well i certainly agree. SWhisssper is very active and a great contribution to the group.
SWhisssper, if you are interested in a staff position then i would gladly accept. Notify me via PM if you wish to accept or not. =)
I also believe that a "inactive member removal" should take place. I am sick of seeing so many inactive members in the group list. Should we do a PM notification to all inactive members before culling them?
As the majority wishes, but removing them will not get the group more active. Unfortunately also the popularity of groups is decided by the numbers and not by activity. Once we already PMed, and it bringed nothing. Rather clean the claim list and free up some girls.

Strip the claims from the inactive ones? Nice... Maybe keep them in reserve for some time (say some weeks) and allow users who come back to reclaim them. Though you can release the Ar Tonelico girls now, people wouldn't probably mind. Also, no Strike Witches claim? What's wrong with APeople nowadays?

Alright well, I am never on BUUUUuuuut, I do not think it is a good Idea to have it so that people can claim more than one person... it makes the chance of somebody's favorite choice of a claim being taken even higher. and most likely if their claim is taken they will not bother to stick around for long... also I find the topics here very hard to get into...for some reason they'er just not post worthy, I'm not sure. I shall be back with less about the problem of the group and more about the solutions soon. I'll see if I can bring anything new to the table and be of more help...and try to be more active...
