If you would search some posts above, I pointed this as the main problem of people not participating in the group. Having a claim takes precedence over being a member.

Yes, send mail to all claimer, give them one month to respond and then put all non-responded one in Release claim list for one month. After that, remove from the list.

Unfortunately also the popularity of groups is decided by the numbers and not by activity.

Is a fail system, that's why is the same to other group. We need to change the process to activity.

I do not think it is a good Idea to have it so that people can claim more than one person... it makes the chance of somebody's favorite choice of a claim being taken even higher

Only mod, admin, and individual who have shown an earnest effort can have two claims, it is a hard earned system, which there won't be a lot in this case. At least you know the girl are in good care.

When the game is out, I guess there will be a lot of dropping and switching...

If they lose their claim because they stopped caring, is their fault. If they quit because they can't get it due to joining late, then they seriously need to watch more anime, look at the candidate SWhisssper point out in last post.

I agree, but this is the community responsibility to create new thread. I respond to almost every post that I see is new, if you had make some topic, I am willing to talk.

In my opinion, contests make the the group alive, but why do we only have one admin to handle it? 3 or more admins/mods should be assigned to this kind of contests.
I think a very active and a wise admin/member should be assigned. I think, Aika and I wouldn't. We are both busy in real life now.

Oh I see, hit me on my head for my inactivity. sounds good, I did not know we could start our own threats...hmmm... perhaps I shall start a few.

I say the stripping claims from inactive members is a good Idea. The main reason people join this group is because they want to claim certain girls. However if those girls are taken, they just go off elsewhere.
And for some people, they just go claim the girl and then ignore the group, which should be frowned upon and possibly penalized for. But then that leads us making this group a place where people want to visit and have a reason to come. I check on this site often but there really isn't much to talk about besides the few threads we already have up (about your girl, background thread, card game).
Ways to revive the group... dunno. We could stimulate our economy and purge all claims... and members? FF has been around along time and AP has grown a lot since them with many new members and only a few who have been here since the start.
I dunno if this sounds really extreme or not, but making like FF 2.0 with a whole new member list. From there we will know who's really in the club, and those faithful members and fresh new coming members can then choose from a new !gigantic list! of girls.

That's just a little idea I had that could possibly stimulate the group. Something along those lines~

If it FF 2.0, I really suggest making a REAL forum instead of spending 1000 papers for a broken buggy forum that can't actually delete or move topic and thread. Anytime a spammer just create bunch of threads here, it would look horrible.

I'd agree with the "New Group" idea, but I'd have it in AP. Who cares about 1000 papers...I'll make it and give ownership to whoever wants it, never cared about papers anyway. Even if there are quite some bugs, AP is where it all started and it shouldn't end (because it'll never do so...probably).

But before that, let's try cleaning again and see what happens. If still nothing, then we can talk...

SWhisssper's right! this is the best group out there, and we are doing a pretty good job. Its just we need more practicality in this group, there needs to be a reason to come here everyday and post. The only reason people come here now is just for a claim. rightfully so, but if you want them to stick around and post in our group then their has to be something that makes it worthwhile for them. I Just don't have any Ideas at the moment...

also If your going to strip people of their claim, I would find it nice if you were to give out a warning first.

I was always in favour of quality than quantity. It may be more popular, but we manage to do what we plan. Also, number could also be due to the amount of female users. We beat them on seriousness.

Only if the majority of the group member are consist of people that like to join contest, create art, and have graphic program. Otherwise, they are mostly anime fanboy joined for the claim.

Can't be helped with all the inactive admin/mod.

Making a new group before v6 comes out is both a bad and good idea.

The bad side is that it would take some time to organize it, make people transfer to the new group and well, more bad things.

The good side is that all of the inactive members would vanish, the forums will be cleaned and a more strict forum policy could be enforced, set by admins if possible, until the group forum bug is fixed and the new group will give us a new chance of World Domination!

Contests is a must in a group like this. I kinda liked the card game stuff, and it would be nice to see it becoming into something serious. Wallpaper contests once every 2nd week or something and banner contests every month. Although this is just suggestions and such it would be nice to see something happening in the near future.

I believe the card game can really revive it...with my Master Plan.

Say you have walling and vectoring and arting contests. That won't bring back your average Joe. A change in mentality is required to bring people back. And it would have more impact when a negative event is forced upon them, like a claim retraction.
