Exactly. Even when AP is a site about it, the mentioned averge Joe has no clue about vectoring or walling and will never to join to any contest. (not only inn FF, but anywhere) So in a group like FF is I see realistic to have one in 4-6 months and sure that will join always the same people, who already have some experience on that field. For the rest something else is needed.

So the new forum idea is canceled, I will suggest my solution here then.
Although the suggested vector/photoshop/image type contest won't work due to lack of actual artist to participate, we can still run other kind of contest, which is anything from forum game, word game, playing some flash game tournament at somewhere(I know a few online place to play checkers), etc.
The prize must be something that make sense for this group purpose, the player's claim girl, I been thinking some sort of achievement badge, love exp, relationship level, stat system(not relate to ffcg), ffcg card custom stuff, etc.
And I think the ffcg card for claim girl might also look nice as an alt claim sig in the player profile area. Like one of those soul card...very hard to earn one though. :p

Even though this isn't a direct way of refreshing the forum, it may prove beneficial in the long run. I support Atlas.
As for my part in the coding, seems I hit a brick wall. I don't want to leave it as is and will try to workaround the issues. Worst case, I'll have to change the coding language.

Our group art contest is not a direct way to begin with. This is just a variant of group contest. :p

If that failed, then phase two would be seeing what Brad respond is.
if he said, I give up, then I give up.
If he said, I still believe in it, then I too will assume my admin responsibility and take over all claim list function and actually start pm people and works up dozens of things to try reviving this place.
And the result is that me, Brad, and Aki will resign and quit this group due to extreme frustration for this group in many reasoning. I tell them I will keep my membership here since I still have some FFCG things to settle here.
