Looking toward the future
Speak for yourself. I just have better ways of using my time. I gave up on trying to make all of the sigs look the same a while back. If you want to be technical about it, motogp, you are not following the rules because the only way anyone can see your sig is by clicking your spoiler link. :P
If you would like to work to move all of the signature banners, be my guest. I agree- a nice clean uniform look would be excellent. However, for reasons mentioned above (and not for laziness), I will not undertake the task myself.

We should stress, or rather require, a certain degree of participation in the group for all members. This would discourage grab-and-go members, users who sign up just to get their claim and never come back. Frenzy is, after all, a group and needs to maintain that image and level of activity. Even a post every now and then wouldn't hurt. We should avoid imposing a sort of quota that has to be met. Group-participation should be required yet lax at the same time. The group feel is one of kicking-back and talking about the girls so we want to keep that. I guess you could put the requirement on par with talking to your parents: "Call every so often so they know you're alive."
Our primary requirement for keeping your claim is that you're active on AP wherein the group falls under so an occasional drop wouldn't be out of the question.
Indeed. I was also thinking of having a single signature with a double claim. It'd certainly make the signature more appealing with having two ladies instead of separates.
Is there anyway to get rid of those locked sticky threads that haven't been posted on in over 6mos (aside the possibility that it's a glitch and will be fixed in the upgrade of AP)? They're keeping all the active threads from being seen by passerbys and members. I don't think they can be deleted but we can at least get them unlocked and at the bottom of the barrel.

I also don't mind the idea of two claims, however I know the admins don't like clutter in the sig area, so I'd suggest creating a banner than contains both of your ladies. Might I also suggest that in addition to a double claim, frequent participants of FF also recieve moderator status. It only seems rational that the people who frequent the place help keep it clean.

Yup we sure can get them unlocked alrighty.Even if no mod/admin or the creator can unlock em an admin can always do.Not the group admin but a site admin or mod can always do this stuff.
I thought is was a bug preventing that from happening?
A suggestion for the future. Have an announcement topic instead. So you don't have to make so many "admin needed" topics xD.

No, there isn't. As said a thousand times- we have very limited controls right now. We have the ability to make a sticky thread and that is about it. I don't even think a regular admin can do that. I'm not wasting Kath's time asking her either- you can if you like. lol

Again, this was a bug. Ed9e made one and three showed up and for over a year Bantam still hasn't fixed the damn group threads. If something on this site looks stupid and unreasonable, it is because we don't have any control over it thanks to the bugs that were never fixed. This is why we deserted FF in the first place- too hard to find anything and keep it organized.
Hopefully, the new AP will have usable group controls.

Oh. Right. Sorry. I thought the bugs only prevented you from unlocking and deleting topics not create multiple topics (or maybe he just clicked on it three times by accident and blamed it as a bug lol). Oh well. They sure are taking a long time making this so called new animepaper though >.>.
Well, as the last resort, we can abandon this one and make a new cleaner group.. That way we'll know who's active and who's not..
So the sticky thingy can't be deleted? Damn, i thought I was making some mistake..

I think the best option is for you guys to wait until 6th edition of AP is finalized. Creating another FF group will just add to the clatter of groups..

That was stated in the very first post of this thread.

Sorry about that, but I'd like to emphasize it anyway. What do you think about the periodical renewal idea I posted?
Waiting for the V6 is most wasting time i'd say.If i guess then V6 wont come out till the new year!!

Agreed. We have already been waiting for AP to convert to the new version for a year now and it doesn't look like doing so anytime soon.
Wow.. a year Really? You're right.. a waste of time.. well.. hell.
Is that the jewish new year, the chinese new year, or the roman new year?
