This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Hi, all!!

This thread is for talking about Christian Concerts and Events and/or Meetings! So, come on and start typing. I know you can!

For me, I've been going to lots of concerts in the last few months. I've gone to a 'Mercy Me' concert in 2008; 'Newsboys'; 'Building 420'; and this weekend going to a 'Castings Crowns' concert. This doesn't even tell of who was at the concerts. The before bands. The 'Newsboys' had like 4 before them. 'Building 420' only had one by chance. 'Mercy Me' I'm not sure but WOW! It was a great experience for my first concert! I'll update you on 'Casting Crown' concert. Oh, they have 'John Waller' and someone else before them in that one. Its 'Leeland'. I'm actually not familiar with them but I will be!

Personally, I want go and see 'Thousand Food Krutch'!! Oh, did you guys know about the 'Life light music feast' > http://www.lifelight.org/festival/schedule/main-stage < Its a completely FREE concert. With only standing room I heard. It may be a drive for some but if your looking for an adventure and some praise. I'd check it out if I were you!!

Hmm, I can't say I've been to any concerts other than those that are organised by my own church - which doesn't get much more than 200 people xD! I don't often hear about Christian concerts in Australia but I'm hoping I'll get more news on that in the future.
I doubt my mum will let me go though xD! She likes the Christian concerts that are formal and have a choir singing normal church songs x3!

Aw, it'll be okay Pyro!... If there is a concert that comes your way. Just introduce the songs kindly to your mother so she knows what your going to. It really does help out a lot because parents are just humans to with a lot of responcibility. And I can't spell with these nails on... sorry... Anyways, I hope some come your way... but isn't Hill Song in Austrailia? of which i can' spell... but either way.. start looking around and maybe you and your chruch/church group can go together. The one's I go to have a lot of people come that way. Also cheaper sometimes. *^^*heh

Anyone else gone to concerts or Ministry events? The first one I ever went to was Jesse Duplantis. Its true!

Hrmmm... no. i've never been to a christian concert before. sad to say, i've actually never realised they have any...

BUT! i do know that this year, in Sydney, their holding World Youth Day and the pope's coming along with a couple of thousand youths (young-30?). 30 students from my school have already booked a flight to go there. it's a mega big event... universally known... happens every couple of years (not sure how many) and changes location every time, like the Olympics ^^

there's even going to be a rapping priest! he came to perform at my school last yr!! i guess, that's sortof like a concert... he's a totally talented one-man band! hilarious and funny.

I have been to one. It was maybe a few months ago,...hmm...yeah about a few months ago. You should have seen it. I thought it was going to be boring, but it was the total opposite. A farmer allowed the whole concert to take place in his horse ranch, and a coupld thousand attended the concert. It was a blast. <3 emoticon

Skillet was there, Jars of Clay, and one of the former members of the Backstreet Boys was there too. Singing! They had two stages the Philadelphia stage and a New York Stage.

And top that all off it took place in New Jersey. My home state never thought that something like this would happen here. My whole youth group started to get all psyched about it. |(n_n)| emoticon It was a wonderful time.

Sweet, Leoliger! Your so lucky! I want to see Skillet myself! Skillet and TFK are doing a tour together and there coming close to were I live but there isn't anyone to go with me. I go with my mom and sister and my sister's friend... which means there all older then me anyways. So, yeah.. no one my age to go with since its more 'rock' type music. *^^*

But that's totally cool!! TOTALLY COOL! Which BSB boy was it that was singing? I'm totally shocked that one of them was at a christian concert.

I am not exactly sure which one it was, because I wasn't a big fan of the Backstreet Boys back in the day. He had spiky, blond hair, and he is married. I'll find out from a friend can't remember his name,...maybe Brian..I don't know I'll found out.
