Personally I would only recommend it to Guilty Gear fans. It's gameplay is so weird...
Also,it's only on Xbox 360...

I saw some info on this awhle back but havent been up to date. From the looks of it seemed to be a hack and slash type game. It comes out around the end of this month in Japan so I'll be looking forward to some reviews and such.
Man i read that this got a terrible score in the latest famitsu magazine :( I knew this game was mostly for fans of the story so I guess the gameplay took a back seat to that. I cant find the link with the actual scores but it wasnt pretty.

I didn't like it that much either...
From what some have said, the gameplay looks to be a more focused version of the Samurai Warriors/Dynasty Warriors/etc, etc games.
However, with the way you control one main "master" character, and you give orders to the pack of "servant" soldiers, and you character retains all of their signature moves; it really feels to me like the 360 game N3: Ninety Nine Nights That game is structured almost identically, and your character does learn special moves the are executed by fighting style button presses.
Similarly N3 got low scores, mainly due to the fact that it's difficulty makes it pretty incompatible with the everyday joe gamers, however hardcore fans like myself and my friends ate it up: great graphics, great music, searing difficulty, and the fact that the game is a collaboration between Phantagram (Kindom Under Fire) and Q3 Entertainment (Rez, E3, Space Channel 5)
I really don't concern myself with the Japanese reviews, many of them are biased, especially when the game has a steep learning curve. I'll judge for myself once I play it, and honestly, the fact that it's more story driven is fine by me, I love the GG universe's story, and I'm anxious to learn more.
Frankly, anything that gives me more quality time with my beloved Sol
is great with me.
