To be naked or not to be naked?

That's a little bit out of the question.. No one is expecting all adms will share the same opinion. But there ought to be generalised standard a little bit more clear to all users. That's at least my belief. And regarding the group... Well, since you are not a member it's kind of rude to intrude in such a rude way as you did. You could at least be a little more symphathetic. Don't just judge what we are trying to discuss here from the outside. If you would like to join, you could be a valuable asset, summing your opinion and bringing into court another side of the story. I think it would be good for everyone.
Besides, regarding Beckor not being enough to 'control' the group... Any Adm that might want to join may do so. It is not a restricted group. Appart from that, everyone is free to state their minds within the rules limits.
And no one, even admns should cohert people and limit their right to free expression if they are within politeness boundaries.

Did you not read my post?
I didn't say jack about controlling the group. I said watching, which is what we do with ALL the groups.
And how is it rude for an admin to place their opinion in a group about the admins decisions whether in the group or not? It's our job. We're here to take care of this site, and placing our statements in threads about us or policy whether in groups or not is part of the job. Especially when I get a pm from a member expressing some concern.
Not once was I rude in what I said. If I had wanted to be unfair or rude, I would have deleted the group or something. All I did was give a second admin side to the story. How is that unfair?
As for scans, we DO have a generalized standard. That standard is no hentai, ecchi and artistic nudity are okay. When scans that are and the line, or are in the grey area, thats where opinions will differ, and where they do. Typically we are all on the same page though. The staff as a whole decided that the air gear SCAN was fine, but the WALL was not and for the agreed reason as how the wall was interpreted. Especially because there are the air gear scans of the chick in that second skin suit, where she could be taken as naked, but is not naked.
No one is limiting anything, but we do have rules, and the rules are fair. They say no hentai, and any nudity needs to be artistic nudity. I'm not sure I see how this is unfair. We're saying nudity is fine so long as it is within good taste. What will make it good taste is the circumstances, the pose and the angle. One of the reasons I made my wall was to show that nudity is fine, so long as it is done properly.
I'm not joining your group because I don't share your opinion. I can understand you are upset because your original wall got rejected. If I had a nickel for every time someone got mad when their wall was rejected, I could own my own private island. So I do sympathize with you. I just cannot grasp on how you think that our nudity rule is unfair.

Perhaps I wasn't clear enough... I DO NOT believe the nudity rule is unfair. On the other hand I am against nude ecchi walls. Thats is not what I was trying to say at all.
I was refering to the thin line between what can be considered sexual nudity on one end of the rope and artistic nudity on the other. In between there is just nudity with no content whatsoever. I mean, nudity implying sexual meaning should not be allowed.
I guess it's hard to be clear sometimes in another language.
I feel differently about you not joining due to a difference in opinions. I really would like you to join. And I'm not saying this out half-heartedly.
I was only slightly bothered when you barged in, because I felt you weren't exactly participating on the same level than the other members but neither as an adm. If a member of Ap was concerned about this group, you could have watched over it till you got to a conclusion. When you decided to post your opinion, you did it like the rest of us.
That's why it felt a little bit ackward, not only to me, I believe.
The role admns have in AP couldn't be more important. I never implied your role wasn't important or that you should cease in any way.
What would we do without admns? It'd be caos.
Also, it was not the words you used that made me catalogue your comment as rude, it was more like the attitude. I suppose this is so subjective it is not even worthy of discussing. Perhaps our countries' ways differ and that's why we perceive it differently. It wouldn't be the first time people get lost in translation.
Regarding Ap standards, I have commented with new-comers that expressions such as the ones used in the guide are not always enough. Would it be possible to exemplify them with thumbnail pics or something?
That way it might save us quite a bunch of trouble. Also the difference between gray and colour wasn't clear to many people. Could that be included in the guide?
I have to accept I got a little upset at first. But regardless of that, the day after when I finished the drawn version I got over the matter. I am not mad about the rejection. It gave me the opportunity to try and draw by myself with vectors. Besides, it's just a wall...
I just felt it was a good topic that was being commented over by many users and might use a place to focus the whole commentary thing.
Again, I hope I was more clear this time. I think we both might have misunderstood the other. If my cataloguing you as 'rude' was rude itself, I deeply apologise. I value politeness and etiquette more than anything. (edit by ^Beckor)

Ladies ladies please, took me 5 minutes to understand this discussion. I sense that you both see each others point of vieuw now and have a good idea of what happend and what might have caused it. Still adding to that 1 point remains: whats the use of this thread ( / group) now? So im gonna lock it and below *dramatic climax music starts up* the conclusion of this first epic discussion
Situation that caused a problem: Wall rejection of a wallpaper containing the naked (no breasts ore other female characteristics clearly shown) body of Ringo from Air Gear, causing the deleting of a black and white scan.
Reason misunderstanding by a admin / moderator that also deleted the scan with the reason that it contained 'nudity'.
Lesson learned this subject shows again the importance that animepaper-staff needs to know the rules well, since nudity scans containing echi ore coverd charasteric body parts are allowed. only suggestive echi ore pure hentai scans are not allowed.
Echi ore naked persons are allowed if it can be considerd 'artistic nudity'. Examples of that can be found in the A and above rated wallpapers, ore ask someone of the ap-staff if youre wallpaper would fall under artistic nudity. He/She will probably then start a discussion underling with staff to hear the opinions and give you a answer if it will be accepted ore not.

You can't do something like that man!.
This is a free country.
How about cleaning ? I don't really understand that when the administrator PM me..
Well, I guess it depends on how was it made, If it's totally naked or just, some parts as long as it does not look awkward for guys in younger age..... I really think that wallpapers like that should be banned.........

Well, it seems like this thread is stil alive after the discussion with Kalico... It's sort of a catch 22 situation. Since we won't hardly get to an agreement that might change the status quo on AP since so few feel this is a pressing matter...
