^nat
After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

I'm not good at Japanese and I really want to learn. I already check out the link that's been given by the admin and it's really nice, but I think it'll be far more easier to learn if we try to use it everyday. Let's talk about random things while learning Japanese.
I hope everyone would help me ^^
Arigatou, minna-san!! _(._.)_ emoticon

First of all, I want to ask about the use of 'ne'. It doesn't have any meaning, right? What's the use of it? I sometimes use it, but I don't really know what I use it for (._.); emoticon
Second, I want to ask about the use of 'onegai' and 'kudasai'. What's the difference between those two words?
Third, I try to read a short sentence from introduction, but there're some words I don't understand. Please correct me.

dirtyhippo
@ichigo...私はそう考えるも。みんなさん、がんばって!

Read : Watashi wa sou ?? e ru mo. Minna-san, ganbatte! Is it correct to read it 'e ru mo'??
ありがとう ございます <<--- Is this one correct?

Hi there Yuki =)

I think adding 'ne' on the end of a sentence is in many cases like adding 'isn't it' in English.

example:

暑いです. あついです. atsui desu. It's hot.

暑いですね. あついですね. atusi desu ne. It's hot isn't it?

That's one use of it anyway, I'm sure more people can come up with other uses =)

With the 'onegai' and 'kudasai' thing. I think both mean please in many situations, though I think kudasai is less formal. Like, if I wanted to buy batteries in a store I would just say 'denchi o kudasai', but if I was asking for a big favor from a friend I would say the favor followed by 'onegai shimasu'. I think there are other more random uses with those words like the phrase 'gomen kudasai' when entering someone else's house.

I am only a beginner though, so someone feel free to correct me =)

Last thing, 考える = kangaeru which I think is the verb for thinking or considering something, as well as other usages. This is a really great kanji dictionary if you have the money to buy one, I use it all the time. It makes it very fast and easy to look up kanji when you get used to the system.

Arigato gomaimasu..woah, that is SO polite..not very use to it. hehe. and yes that i correct.
what i said..was 'i think so too, everyone good luck!'
私 means "i"
考えなさい means "to think"
も means "too"
i think so too. 私はそう考えるも。
みんなさん/皆 means "everyone"
がんばって means "good luck"
______________________________
ne..is like..being cute. haha. you just put it at the end of your sentence to make the sentence sound more casual..or cute.
ex: わたしは可愛いです .
okay?
______________________________

onegai is like..just plain "please"
kudasai is part of a sentence that says "please"

ex of onegai:
give me the book...... please
私に本を与えなさい。。。お願い/おねがい
(the sentence up there..might be wrong. don't really rely on that sentence, if you are saying that to somebody.)

ex of kudasai:
pleasewait for me.
著とまて ください

I think you need to rest, peace. Why don't you go to sleep? You stay up the whole night? What's wrong? You can't sleep?

I'm not sure Yuki. I've heard people say it both ways on Japanese dramas. I'm not sure if it's only suppose to be written one way or not though.

I think 分かりません (わかりません)is the verb used for not knowing or understanding something.

分からない (わからない)is its more casual, less polite form.

I want to ask, there're actually how many ways to say 'I love you' in Japanese?? So far, this is what I found (but I'm not sure if it's correct) :

愛してる

私わあなたがすきです (What's the use of 'ga' in this sentence?)

あなたお愛しています (I don't understand about this one, is it mean : You're the one I love??)

ありがとうね ^^

雪~ちゃん

Edit : Forget another one, what is the meaning of そう?
