This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

As the topic descriptions states. What are you using?

For me it will be KDE and Fluxbox.

First I find the most usefull while working or mailny during normal PC using. I also like a lot of apps based on qt, like amaroK, krusader, kaffeine or k3b.

I use fluxbox at second account, made especially for playing games. Since its so light, it helps me to get around 10 FPS more during sessions of Enemy Territory :P

Gnome. It's easy to use and I like how it looks. Second choice would be Xfce, though I haven't used it for a while.
The only KDE/Qt application that I use from time to time is the rather unknown SpeedCrunch^^

I also like using GTK applications on my PC. That would be mainly Firefox, GIMP and java based apps. For those it's great to have gtk-qt engine. It's a great piece of code that makes GTK based windows look like developed with QT (more or less, depending on the app).

I'm mainly using FluxBox because of it being _VERY_ lightweight and highly customizable. But I'm truing XFCE out at the moment and it's quite fast as well. And I also love the console mode!

Gotta be Gnome for me. I love running XGL on it, it's nice and easy to use and it's highly customizable.

XGL... Reeks of bloatware! *shrug*
I'm still using XFCE and I must say that it's really nice! Just about as customizable as fluxbox with some minor drawbacks but in overall it's a nice and clean WM.

=O Xgl really helps with productivity. New versions allow windows to be hidden so you can see the desktop and click on the file you want. Then you can just pop them back onto the screen. It's gorgeous to look at as well, so it's all win!

Takes too much computer load to be useful...

It takes up GPU power, but that's it. And with any graphics card above a GeForce 6600, it's not gonna make any difference to performance...
