You guys sound surprised that my dog is wearing clothes lol, it isn't too uncommon for dogs to wear clothes I am sure ><. Anyway there are 2 reasons for it. First would be because she's cuter :p Second is because sometimes her fur drops a little more than usual so wearing clothes help in trapping her fur. But my mom would need to remove the fur from the clothes from time to time.

Depth: i think we are not as much surprised as we are gushing over how cute the dog is ^^ By the way, I thought you are studying in Australia...is your dog there with you or it's at your home in Malaysia?

yukina, Plue is cute... reminds me of a snowman... due to it's carrot nose... =P btw, i saw your comment at depths UP... usually there are not many scholarships that offer you the study overseas with an spm cert.. most need at least stpm/matri/or diploma before going overseas... for spm cert holders, they usually offer twinning (if you go to college). You do the first 2-3 years here and then go overseas... it depends what course you want to take... you can always try for the star education scholarship or JPA if you don't mind comming back to work in malaysia... i'm not sure if you know this site but try going here to check out the different scholarships... maybe you'll find one that suits you.. hope it helps..

Wow, Cadmiran, you can't wait to go back to school?? It's funny I'm enjoying my life immensely now ^^ I've heard of many overseas undergraduate scholarships for SPM cert holders like us, but the conditions are you have to register at the uni first before applying...that's such a risk o.o I'm going to try for the JPA though - but it's really hard to get Thanks for the site...I will go and check it out!

My dog is at my parent's house, so she's in Malaysia. It's not as bad now since I've gotten used to not seeing her when I go back to Melbourne, but I missed her a lot on my first year.

Uni starts next week (going back this Thursday) and this will be my 4th and final year of my Software Engineering degree =/. Once work starts there'll be little to no free time in doing any random things (like playing games or making wallpapers) so I am treasuring the time now very much.

Advice ><. Can't say I can give much, but yea as mentioned the best deal to get international scholarship is JPA. But of course it's kinda hard to get, but there's no harm in applying it, although keep in mind you'd have to work to pay them back after you finished your degree so it'd be harder to stay in Australia after graduating. As for my degree, it's on self-funded primarily but I did get some small scholarship here and there (for my accomodation etc) and it's been hard on my dad ><. But luckily this is the last year and it'll all be soon over.

It is possible to get company scholarship, but usually they have specific requirements for studies and the obligatory work you'd have to do for them after finishing the course, not that I think it matters but these type of scholarship are hard to find and the courses are usually more technical. Ie. courses like business or art are usually out.

Ultimately, in my opinion, international uni or national uni, it matters little. The main point to study oversea is so that it is easier to stay there and work after graduating. If you do plan to stay in Malaysia, I think there isn't much meaning doing it oversea. Some companies would probably have a better impression for an oversea degree qualification, but I'd say 99% (or more probably) of the job applicants would have a national uni degree so it wouldn't have too much of an effect in career opportunity.

Lastly, I think I've said before, choose something that you have at least some interest. It'll be a very very tough and hard journey if you chose something to please your kin, I've had one friend who did that and now she's still thinking if she should change her course and have been suffering in the degree.

I'd miss my family and my dog, but I would definitely prefer to stay and work in Australia if possible, so I'd need to apply PR as soon as I graduate and look for jobs. I find Australia a better place to stay and prefer the cooler climate there over the heat in Malaysia ><. My family do have plan to eventually move to Australia though, so thats a plus.

Don't have friendster or facebook or any of those online social services, although I've been pestered by many friends to start a facebook account. Only using irc for a closed group of friends and MSN these days.

I've talked to fye about the banners and all, I don't know, I can't think of a cool banner, it isn't hard to work on it once you have an idea but getting that idea out is hard. I am not even sure if it any anime-related objects should be put into the banner.

I share depth's opinion. If I manage to get myself to study overseas, there's no way I would come back here (_/).. I will work my ass off to repay my sponsor who paid my fees, and then I will ask my family to move to wherever I am ^^ Depth's so lucky ~~
And I'm starting to hate the weather over here too And if I'm going to further my studies, I will make sure that I choose the subject I like, but now, I kinda feel like I know what I don't want to do, but I don't know what I want to do I would certainly apply for all the scholarships I know though ^^
