I usually like based on their music. Sometimes I just really look up to some of the members in the band. Obviously, Synyster Gates from A7X is my favorite guitar hero. I want to get a guitar just like his. It's so awesome. I'm also growing my hair out to look somewhat like his. I guess you could say I have a little man crush, but absolutely nothing sexual! I'm not gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that (seinfeld quote ). lol

Well my main reason for liking a band is becuase of the music, but ifthey have, say a hot singer chick or some other female member thats looks good I just consider that icing on the cake. =P

Well i like band?
Cause the voice and guitar...
I was suprised when i heard the people singing with a beatiful voice(KOTOKO) and Guitar play..
But...somehow....in new era there many band in world( some of them i like)...but i still like old band...

I never know why I like a specific band. I guess, for me, it's a combination of lyrics, vocals, main song and out-of-the-ordinary stuff (for example, flutes or violins or an orchestra).
I don't understand how you can like a band NOT because of their music. You may like their appearance, but that doesn't mean you like their music, which is the core of any band. If you like appearances, then you use videos or pictures. It seems stupid to listen to music if you only like how the people who sing it look like...

Looks are not important, however society is all about it. If they have good music it does not really matter what they look like to me. But if they where inappropriate clothing than thats an exception.
Its also important for what a group stands for. If they all are drug addicts, then I will definitely not support them in any cause.
