Hello, NEWA members! A few of use member's have gotten together and decided we need to have a contest. Don't worry it has a theme provided by Luna; "The Best Anime Female Role Model."

We wont this contest to promote our non-ecchi policy. To show girls that you don't have to be naked in order to be looked apone. You can be dignafied and dressed. So, lets give back what this world has taken away from the girls and women. Give them back there pride and athority. Lets see who you can put into a wall that will show us... The Best Anime Female Role Model.

Theme: "The Best Anime Female Role Model"

Size min.: 1024x768

Submission: Does not need to go thru AP. Unless you wont too. But with final submission please include a brife paragraph about why your lady is 'the best female anime role model'. Can include her anime's story plot and how she was involved or on a more personal note. It is really up to you. So, be creative.

Anime: Any you choose to be the 'Best Anime Female Role Modle'

Text: Up to you.

Deadline: Nov. 25, 2007 ALRIGHT DEADLINE EXTENDED: NO LATER THEN DECEMBER 31st, 2007... NEW YEARS EVE!!

Prizes: Yes, and not decided yet.

If you need help or suggestions or just wont someone to critic your wall. Don't be shy. Come to anyone in NEWA or your friend. You can always use AP's SZ [Session Zero]. So, get all the help you need.

Oh, and please post up, here, if your going to be participating or not. So, we can all know who's in and who's out. And if by the end of Nov. someone needs an extention.. you'll have to ask for it and it will be decided then.

I think this is getting kind of confusing for one thread. Should we start a new one for submissions? I really think there should be some description/justification for why everyone thinks their wallpaper has the best female role model. Because there are a lot of series that people haven't read or watched, so they wouldn't know about the character. Also, I would prefer that only one character be used since every character is different (kinda). What do you think?

Er...I said this yesterday, but I think it got deleted because something was going on with the site.

Anyway, I think the deadline should be extended to the end of December (lol, procrastinator). That way more people can participate since we'll have Christmas Break to work on it. Or maybe it's just me >.>

And, I'll add to the rule's... when you submit your wall's for 'best female role model'. It would be best if you submited your reasoning for her. If it has to do with the show or her personality. Just to help the judge's and those who see your wall.
Now, about the extention or deadline... For now, I'd like to leave it as is. Although, I know you all are busy, we all are. I was just worried about running into christmas, myself. Some people go off and do things more so then, then any other time. So, lets get to the end of November... and see what happen's. If you all haven't done a wall by then or got a good start or half a start then we will definatly do the extention... But don't freak out or stress out about it.. if it makes you feel better you can consider the extention already extended but without date. *^^*... if i make sence. *^^;;*

The character must be from an anime, I guess... (I mean, could the girl come from a gme?)

Many Japanese games are categorized with anime, so I think it's fine to use game characters.
