The amount of patience, hard work and an eye for quality is what defines this wallpaper. Character is painstakingly vectored off a real life toy image with references to screenshots. Despite the difficulty level, ~pvc24 still manages to nicely depict the image in anime fashion and yet able to find the mental strength to come up with a background composition that is both aptly fun and pleasant in atmosphere.

Honestly, The Honest Man is the man won you have to look out for cause you will never know he might do something really stupid

Well, the problem is that I use GIMP and its the hardest thing to work with. I havent mastered any of its traits and it also closes on me at random. D:

I trained myself months before I made my first AP wall :p So its okay to suck in the beginning.

Im in dire need of help period. Im really interested in "grungy" "dark" wallpapers, and want to learn to create them. Ive got a few walls in session zero that id like to turn dark/grunge, and would love some advice on how to do it. Tell me anything, where to find brush tools, artistic insight on how to make "dark" walls, even a cool filter or effect to give an overall darker look. I could really use some in depth info on how to use more earth toned colors, and how to blend art work. Im new to the whole wallpaper making business lol, and i have a good handle on the program (Photoshop CS2) I just dont have the artistic background needed to put 2 and 2 together. A couple links to some session zero works in progress.

Hey GoG... first off, here are some links for you to try
1 - http://www.animepaper.net/groups/resourcepool/ - this is a group you need, it provides links to StockImage Sites, Brush Sites, And Tutorial Sites, now if you wanna get better at walling, you got practice, if you want to get better at walling a bit faster you practice using tutorials. so i would suggest trying some tutorials.

2 - www.brusheezy.com is just a site i like to use for brushes.

As for your "artistic background" lol, never heard it put like that before... I would suggest going through some walls here at AP and figuring out what you like to see in a wall, THEN, think about how you would achieve the same look. now don't get me wrong, i'm not saying go and copy popular wallpaper styles and techniques. All i'm saying is just think about how to achieve the look you want. You really just need to play with photoshop and see what various tools do. EXPERIMENT DUDE... WHOA... lol
'
Then when you're ready to make a wall, plan it out and think about it, all great walls here on AP, are not just thrown together. they planned and are not rushed. So plan it out and take your time.
