As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

And i thought i'd post it because
a) posting is fun and amusing
b) posting gives me a reason to evade studying for math for 15 more minutes!
c) it might be a relevant question (imagine that.)

Quoth the Upload page:

# Maximum file size: ~5859KB
(If you have a file that's larger, try re-encoding it at a lower bitrate, or pm nageni to make special accomodations)

So now the question:

.... how? :D

(i'm actually just fishing for a good tutorial/program in which to do this in, because then i can complete my Champloo-ization of PinkTea XD)

Regarding this, i asked nageni too, and she said.

"Hmm, well you could use a program like Easy CD-DA Extractor"
and some other things, but this is the program not sure if there's a trail version or something though. ;D

Hehe, well just like blu3 says, you can try to get a copy of Easy CD-DA Extractor and re-encode them with that (which is incredibly user-friendly). You basically click the audio converter tab and drag songs into the window, then click on the bitrate options at the bottom of the window and set it to something like 128-160kbps or quality 3-4 vbr.

I'm sure there are some freeware mp3 encoders, but this really is the best one for everyday users. Besides, you can always download it via *cough* torrents *cough*. XD

I re-encode most of the stuff I upload using winlame, which itself is an interface to the lame mp3 encoder. Both are open source (read free)! The custom encoding options are very flexible and powerful; I generally adjust for maximum quality while keeping under the filesize limit.

There's DBpowerAMP music converter which can do the job too.
I use it mostly to convert wma to mp3 but there's a lot of other options.

Yay. i just got the CD whatever program extracter thing, and tried what Nageni said, and It worked! :D I dled a trial version from their website. Googled it.

Season's Call...originally 8000+ kb, i re-did-it at 128 bitrate. and was able to get it to around 5000 kb xD
