- The Only You -
-from when i met you-

My days of school started following a routine line. I woke up, brushed my teeth, changed my clothes, and ate my morning breakfast. I then parted from my house, advancing myself to the nearest high school; where I study. Like it started normally, it ended normally. After saying my ‘byes’ to my friends, I walked, back to where my first journey began. But, no, it was different this time.

I spotted red. I saw your eyes, and also your hair. People would have thought you were a black-haired six footer, but, only those who have really passed through the eerie and vague aura you gave out, they would have seen red. Dark red, to be exact.

Waiting for the bus to stop at its place, you stood there, claiming that spot for yourself, one of your obsessions, yours. I saw you from afar. It would be impossible to miss such an interesting person. Someone who was, mysterious. I couldn’t walk in front of you to shift your attention towards me. I couldn’t. My house was located at the higher ground, so, I took my step up the stairs, passing the bus stop where you were. I missed the chance. A feeling rose, a rare and yet, unknown. I felt like I’ve just missed something in my life; I’ve just gotten rid of something I hold dear, or even something I cherished. It was that feeling. It also felt, sad. Having another 200 meters to my house; time to think, I’ve decided,

I’ll move forward tomorrow

Again, everything was the same. I did everything in their own formula, nothing different. Awaiting the moment where I reach the bus stop, where I first encountered you, your form.

At last, the last subject was already over, I crossed the zebra-crossing, and I walked on the ever so long path to your place. In between the steps I made, some were faster. I couldn’t wait, I couldn’t stand this path which suddenly felt like a two hour walk. It was painful, and it is.

Reaching near you,

I ran.

The sound of the cars weren’t heard, the sound of the birds weren’t, whatever more the wind? But, I heard my breath, my heart beat, as I was reaching closer to you. Then,

I stopped, just like that. I came to my logical and coherent mind,
What should I say later on?
I was down to the last bit of my breath. I was stuck, not knowing what to do. Something inside me told me to step forward, like what I decided yesterday. Taking in my words, I walked, slow at first, gradually getting faster by the every next step I took. I made, and I saw you. I saw your hair, and your shining red eyes which I found both excitement and a feel that could terrify any being in this world, including me.

I noticed that you weren’t wearing your black jacket and jeans like you did yesterday, instead, you have a white buttoned shirt and a green pants.
What’s that?
It looks familiar….
I came to a conclusion to look closer, then moving on to the bus station. I stood next to you, feeling and hearing my ever so fast heart beats which could make a hole in my chest. It was beating so fast, just standing beside you, made me feel that way.
How then can I talk to him?
I was afraid.
Coming back to my motive, your uniform looked somewhat familiar. It was a,
High school’s?!
Wow, that’s surprising. The only thing left to do is for the checking of your badge.
What will it look like?
I was anxious, sweat accumulated at the tip of my chin.
I tilted my head outwards, so that I could see the badge which will usually be located at the left of a boy’s school uniform. I saw, and I smiled.

You looked at me with your eyes, your red ones, piercing through my dark brown ones. An electrifying jolt of lighting went through my nerves as you spoke your first word to me, your first ever.

“What?”

You sounded angry, with your deep voice echoing in my head. Ah, now I know every bit of your voice, your sound. Trashing all those away, what matters most now was the answer I am to give.
What should I answer?
Still having your frightening shadow hovering over me, I mustered my courage and replied.

“Oh,……nothing.”, and I took leave, turning back, walking up the stairs to my house. From the corner of my right eye, I can see your head following my leave.
What are you thinking?
Confused, maybe, of standing next to him, then turning back later on. Whoever would be, and curious too, maybe.

I smiled more, and I giggled, playing with my index finger, touching my lips with it as I giggled. You were so cute, you were so enticing, you were so, grasping. I know that last word didn’t make any sense, but, you really were. When I was next to you, it felt like you were holding on to me, squeezing me to answer you. My breath was out for a moment, until I came back to reality.

Getting back onto the road, I saw the yellow leaves falling down so smoothly and slow from the moderate speed of the wind. The small lights from the sun which sipped through the trees made it all the more breath-taking.

Ah, today was perfect, all so perfect~

Tomorrow will be too, you know why?

I am going to meet you at my school, of course!

My Notes: How was that? Haha, I actually gotten all the background of this story from the way I take to my house from school. Like you have read, I need to walk up the stairs to another higher ground to my house. Further than that on the lower one is a bus stop. That’s where I put my beloved Kyo(hehe) >x<. The yellow leaves falling and all those was a really breath-taking view I got one day back from school. It was so beautiful. I wished I had a camera with me, but too bad, I didn’t, hehe, ;p . So, how was it? It was short, but I guess I put quite some effort into it. I write fan fiction, and I guess, this can be counted as one as the feel of it is the same, just that the pairing is,

P.S. I may be writing the continuation of this for the next competition, I guess. Not really sure yet, but most likely, hehe. ^-^.
