Had to repost the diary in order to lock it. Anyway, here's the Ai Yori Aoshi breakdown if you're unfamiliar with it.
On his way home from school one day, Kaoru Hanabishi, a sophomore in college, spotted a girl wearing traditional Japanese clothing. She seemed lost, and Kaoru asked if she needed help. In doing so, he discovered that she was looking for someone and had to go to the same station to which he was heading, and they ended up searching for her friend together. However, the address she had written down turned out to be nothing but an empty lot. When Kaoru asked the discouraged young woman if she had any other clues to find this missing person, she handed him a photograph. The two children in the picture were younger versions of the girl and Kaoru himself. Then she, Aoi Sakuraba, told him something rather surprising.
The eighteen years of Aoi Sakuraba's life had been devoted to preparing her for an adulthood as Kaoru's bride. But because Kaoru had been disowned by the Hanabishi family, the engagement was broken off. Aoi wanted to speak with her now ex-betrothed directly and ask him to return to the Hanabishi, so they could be together-- and thus her current trip was born. Though impressed by Aoi's devotion, Kaoru had his reasons for being unable to return to his family.
Aoi hardened her resolve to leave Kaoru behind. This was easier said than done, and ultimately she left the Sakuraba family to return to her formerly intended husband. After the couple spent one night together, Aoi's mother and Aoi's caretaker, Miyabi Kagurazaki, came to get her, but she convinced them to let her stay and the pair of childhood friends were finally allowed to be together... but not alone.
When Kaoru and Aoi return to his apartment, they discover that all of Kaoru's belongings have been removed. In their place was a note with an address. When the couple arrived, they were standing in front of one of the Sakuraba family's summer homes... and under Miyabi's stern gaze. To avoid a scandal with the Sakuraba group, Kaoru must hide his relationship with Aoi. To all on the outside, Aoi and Miyabi are Kaoru's landlords and he their tenant. The boarding house idea was originally just a ruse, but when Miyabi posts a flier inviting more tenants, Kaoru and Aoi get a surprise.
The Sakuraba manor quickly becomes the home of not just Kaoru, Aoi, and Miyabi, but also of Tina Foster, Kaoru's American friend, Taeko Minazuki, Kaoru's fellow classmate and photography club member, Mayu Miyuki, a fellow classmate of Kaoru's who has lived in England for some years, and Chika Minazuki, Taeko's cousin. Can Kaoru live in the house with so many females and still remain loyal to Aoi?

You want to know more about Ai Yori Aoshi? Well here is a listing of everyone a long side Kaoru and Aoi, who only seem to complicate thier lives.
Kaoru Hanabishi - A graduate student at Meiritsu University and a member of the photography club. He was going to be the next head of the Hanabishi Zaibatsu, but now he’s living in a house next to one of the Sakuraba summer homes.
Aoi Sakuraba - Kaoru Hanabishi’s betrothed. She is also the heir to the prestigious Sakuraba dry goods store (now the Sakuraba Department Stores).
Miyabi Kagurazaki - Aoi’s guardian from when she was young. She manages the lives of Aoi and Kaoru.
Tina Foster - A fourth-year student at Meiritsu University. She, like Kaoru, is in the photography club. She’s an American who was raised in Hakata.
Taeko Minazuki - A third-year student in the photography club and maid for the estate. She’s clumsy and awkward, but she tries her hardest at everything she does.
Mayu Miyuki - The daughter of the head of Miyuki Fabrics, she entered Meiritsu University at the age of sixteen through a special consideration for students who have lived abroad. She met Kaoru when she was little, and even now she still in love with him.
Chika Minazuki - Taeko’s cousin, a student in her first year of high school. An energetic girl who always has a tan and is a member of the school’s swimming club. She’s staying in the boarding house next to the Sakuraba manor.
Natsuki Komiya - Chika’s classmate and a fellow member of the swimming club. Besides always being bright and energetic, she is also under the misguided assumption that Kaoru is Chika’s boyfriend.
Chizuru Aizawa - Chika’s classmate. She was invited by Chika to join the swimming club, even though she can’t swim. She has a gentle, quite personality.
Uzume - A pet ferret that was being raised by Tina, but has become attached to Miyabi for some reason.
Satou and Suzuki - Classmates of Kaoru. Sato is the vice-president of the photography club and Suzuki is the president of the club.

Hello to all the fans of Ai Yori Aoshi and those just interested the like. This is just a friendly update on the series manga. Currently the manga has been released up to volume 16, with No. 17 to be arriving soon. 17 looks to be the last one to be added to the series but there is hope that there will be an 18 to wrap up the series instead. So I hope you look forward to reading 17 as much as I am and be on the look out for a volume 18 just in case.
