Added chibimisao to the list, and added lildevil on the WIP list along with dam for the World Map. :)
Anyway, is anyone else working on something related to the project? I know this month is kinda critical (people have exams, finals, and whatnot, we're all kinda busy), but it'd be nice to know if there's atleast some sort of planning in progress. I'll probably make a list/compendium of useful things by tomorrow if anyone's stuck with ideas or needs some pointers.

I wish I could get something going.. X_X It's always hot in my room these days, it makes it so hard to wall anything in this extreme uncomfort. ~_~ I always start something, then get bored of it and go to another. I'll never get anything done! D8

Working on a wall, and also working on the story of the country to go with it. Erm, maybe we could upload files detailing the story of each country? We could sync and correct the 'main' file after someone adds their bit. It might help us keep track of stuff. Currently using Treepad Asia (free, asian text support) for this. Screenshot
haven't decided on name equivalents for the other countries (particularly Japan) yet. Just that one.

This way we can also share just simple ideas and might even be useful inspiration material. And we can also build a small database of infos on locations that can be useful to dam and the others working on the map. :)
About your country, I think we shouldn't push too much with technology, elsewise we might have too many discrepancies with the other countries. My suggestion: you could replace all the AI/techno elements with something more steampunk-oriented. Like, you could still keep that country as a mecha/technology oriented civilization but without going into cyber/science details. That way we can still have a technology-advanced country and keep a certain degree of coherence if someone wants to introduce other kind of countries.

I dunno, i think it might work. it worked on kino no tabi. the countries were vastly different, but it was believable that all could coexist.
Wow, so much depth, Tsu! Hmmm, I think it could work but right now it sounds a bit too sci-fi for a fantasy world. With that much technology, it would be the first of the First World countries, lol, and then it would be hard to call the more fantasy-like countries First World countries too, and I was thinking that there would be more scans available for the latter type of country :x
Edit: Actually, after reading your idea again, it doesn't sound that sci-fi anymore. Can't wait to see your WIP!!

That screenshot was just to illustrate TreePad's features though. Ignore the random stuff I wrote xD it's quite useful to have everything organized in a single file.
Shinn, about the country, hmm... how about steampunk style? It's kinda closer to fantasy, I guess. I agree with Dam on the Kino no Tabi reference. on a side note, I need to rewatch that, might be good inspiration

Steampunk is perfect. And Kino can be a perfect source of ispiration as well. *nods*
I think kino no tabi is the most philosophical i've seen.... eva! not to mention it's damn good.
