Dark figures started to emerge from the ground. Hige's brow twitched as he took a step backwards. "Ah, crap. Not these guys again!"

"Let's hurry. We don't want to get caught up in an unnecessary fight." ordered Captain Shunsui.

The three soul reapers jumped through the figures just as they were coming out from the floor and ran down the corridor.

"Captain...how did you manage to find me?" asked Blue.

Shunsui chuckled. "To be honest, we didn't."

She looked at him curiously. A yelp averted her attention. In a blink of an eye Hige bolted past both of them with blinding speed.

"Well, he's got the right idea." smirked the Captain while picking up the pace. The soul reapers headed down one corridor after another with Hige at the lead. They had managed to outrun the hollows for the time being.

"Slow down Hige!" exclaimed Blue as she watched him take a blind turn just up ahead. Shunsui followed shortly after.

Blue hit the turn then felt her body being pulled backwards. "Eh?!" Before she knew it her body was suspended in midair with Shunsui's arm holding her up by the waist. "Hey, what's going on?!"

"Whatever you do, don't look down." replied Shunsui a little too late. Blue eye's widened as she peered down at the hot molten lava river flowing several hundred feet under her.

The Captain brought her back so her feet touched the floor. The corridor had ended into an open river of lava. Anyone making that turn blindly wouldn't have noticed in time.

"Where's Hige?!" Blue peered over the edge. Sure enough, Hige was there down below clinging onto the rock face for his life.

"I knew this was a bad idea! I knew it!!" He yelled.

"What kind of rescue mission is this..." Slumped Blue.

Shunsui smiled. "The truth is we're actually in need of some rescuing ourselves."

"Huh?" Blue looked up in surprise.

"It would have been impossible to just find you by searching by ourselves. Instead, we let ourselves get caught." Shunsui's eyes glanced to his side.

"You mean-"

"Chances were they'd bring us to you." The Captain turned. "You could say finding you was the easy part."

Blue turned around. Filling up the entire corridor behind them were hollows. Her eyes widened.

"Hey! What's taking you guys so long? What's going on up there?!" yelled Hige.
The soul reaper reached to her side. "No! My zanpakuto where are they?!"

Shunsui glanced at her. "They must have taken them before we managed to get you." He adjusted his hat and unsheathed his zanpakuto. "Don't worry, we'll get them back for you."

"First, let's take care of this little problem." He said with a smile.

"...wha...? AH-Damn it! Not again!" Kouta gritted his teeth and crumpled up the piece of paper which had scribbles all over it and threw it ontop of the filled trashbin. "I can't stay awake."

Standing up, the lieutenant stretched for a bit. He sighed and proceeded out the door. "Just a few minutes outside should do."

An hour later

Kouta walked back into the office a little refreshed but entirely in anguish at the prospect of how much work was left that he still needed to do.

To his surprise several stack piles near the desk had been already cleared out of the way. He scratched his head in confusion. "I don't remember doing all that work...huh. Ah, well."

Taking back his seat, Kouta picked up his pen and sighed.

"First, let's take care of this little problem." He said with a smile.

"My zanpakutos..." Blue said.

Shunsui-taicho slash the first row of hollows with an ease. As the captain clear the rest of the corridor, he turn around and face Blue.

"Fix yourself up and help Hige to get out of there. I'll clear the path first, and let's see how can we find your zanpakutos." Shunsui-taicho said but this time, he is quite serious.

"Hai." Blue replied.

Capatin Shunsui leave the shinigami behind and take a turn. While Blue, kneel down and grab Hige kimono's collar.

"Stop clinging on that rock, Hige. I'll pull you out." Blue said.

"Be sure to hold me tight before I let go on this life-saving rock! I don't want to be a roasted shinigami!" Hige yelled back.

Blue didn't mind to yell back at the freaking male shinigami, instead, she pull Hige up forcefully. Hige just shriek as he was pull out surprisingly by Blue. Blue stand up leaving the shaking shinigami on the ground and walk into the corner to take a look at the place.

"Hige, Shunsui-taicho is quite far away from us now. We better help him out of those hollows." Blue said while looking at the place where the captain was.

"Ye-ye-yeah. I-I-I'll be there." Hige said while trying to stand up with his shaking knees. Darn you Blue! My heart is almost stopped in that sudden pull. he thought.

The two shinigamis rush towards the captain to help him out. When they were about midway, the ceiling crack open and some huge hollows jump down. Shunsui-taicho is now surrounded by hollows.

"Oh no! Captain is surrounded!" Hige shouted.

"I have an idea!" Blue said with an evil grin. "Unsheath your zanpakuto now, Hige!" Blue ordered.

The male shinigami did what Blue said without asking her why. But even before Hige speak, Blue grab the back collar of his kimono and swing him and eventually throw him up towards the hollows like a bowling ball.

"Aaaah!" Hige shouted.

"Get them, Hige!" Blue shouted back.

Hige managed to bump some hollows down and as he stand up, he just swing his zanpakuto up and down, left and right like a kid. Luckily, he id cut some hollows and kill them.

"Aaaah!! Get away from me! Get away!" Hige shouted as he continue to swing his zanpakuto.

"Way of Destruction No. 4. Byakurai!" Blue yelled.

As the two reach the back of Shunsui-taicho, the path was just cleared up. The two shinigamis were breathing heavily. For Blue, she was already tired and her reiatsu is mostly used up while for Hige, it's because of fear.

"Nice teamwork you have there." Shunsui-taicho said with his usual smile.

"Teamwork?!?! Yeah! Throwing me up like a bowling ball!! Is that the new meaning of "teamwork"?!?!" Hige shouted at the other two.

"Heh! But you managed to beat them up, Hige." Blue replied.

"Hold it now you two. Let's keep moving." the captain said.

Ziraki sat up in his bed unable to sleep he decided to go outside and practice flash stepping around the squad 6 barracks. As Ziraki was flash stepping around the squad 6 barracks he decided to go practice his bankai training.

Ziraki quickly flash stepped out of the squad 6 barracks making sure not to be seen, he headed towards a deserted part of Soul Society were no-one could see what he was up to
*draws zanpakutou* ok here it goes BANKAI! Kaze Koogoo Taka Tsume, *Taka Tsumes blade and tsudo turn blue* the blade is absorbed as Zirakis spiritual pressure explodes and twists around him violently. CRAP! Ziraki quickly abandons his Bnkai and returns to normal I hope no-one sensed that and comes to investigate.

Ziraki quickly heads back to the squad 6 barracks.

I was getting kind of bored so I decided to post in the RPG I hope I didn’t go overboard ^^

"Heh! But you managed to beat them up, Hige." Blue replied.

"Hold it now you two. Let's keep moving." the captain said.

The three shinigamis continue their way through the den when suddenly a loud explosion happened at the end of the hallway.

"Wah! What was that?!" Hige shouted immediately.

The other shinigamis crouch lower, ready to attack. Shunsui-taicho was in his fighting stance while looking seriously at the cloud of smoke while Blue is on her fighting stance as well but feels a little bit weird since her zanpakutos are not with her. Suddenly, a voice came out from the smog.

"Calm down, I'm not here to fight you, shinigamis." the voice said.

Hey! That voice is kinda familiar.. Blue thought. The cloud is still abundant on the area when a figure came out from it slowly. As the figure is mostly visible to the three, Blue shouted something as she saw a familiar thing.

"My zanpakutos!" Blue shouted.

Blue was about to run towards the dark figure but, Shunsui-taicho stop her by grabbing her left wrist. Immediately, they felt a large aura of spiritual energy coming from the figure.

*gulp* "I really don't like this..." Hige whispered.

"Whatever happen, stay on my back kids." Shunsui-taicho whispered back.

"Hehe.. troubled are we? Like I said, I'm not here to fight. I'm just here to deliver something." the voice said.

As the cloud of dusts at the back of the figure settle down, a half demon and human appear to them. It was Erin.

"Erin?!" Blue shouted.

"Give me back my zanpakutos!!" she continued.

"Haha... You haven't change a bit, Blue. Don't worry, you will have your zanpakutos right now." Erin replied with his usual grin.

Erin threw the two swords towards Blue. Shunsui-taicho is still holding Blue's wrist as if he was thinking that it was a trap. Blue just gave the captain a nod and a smile as if she was saying that it will be alright. It took a about a few seconds before Shunsui-taicho free Blue from his grip.

The female shinigami immediately flash stepped towards her zanpakutos and grab it and eventually come back at her comrades. Nothing happened, no traps at all.

"Well, I'm already done in here. You better go before the guards of other high rank officers come in." Erin said.

"You want us to escape?!" Hige asked.

"Is this a trap, Erin?! I will not play any game of yours and of Mutsusei's." Blue said.

"I have no more business with you, Blue. The datas about the shinigamis are updated bcoz of your fight recently and the information we obtained when you were asleep. So I'm done. I don't like helping other officers in their missions about the intruders which includes you." Erin said.

"Think whatever you want to but, I'm not in your side. Just remember that." he continue.

A sudden silence fill the entire place for a few moments.

"Very well. We will trust your word." Shunsui-taicho said.

"Captain?!" Blue and Hige exclaimed in unison.

"What?! Do you want to fight him or just get out on this place?" the captain said.

Blue thought for it for a while and suddenly speak.

*sigh* "Alright." she said. I'm not in the right condition to fight anyway. And my reiatsu is almost gone.

"Well then, I'll take my leave. If I were you, I won't take this hallway or go back where you have been." Erin said with his evil grin.

After saying those things, dusts arise from his position and eventually covered him. A few seconds, he just disappeared.

"Whoa! That's creepy!" Hige said.

"He said don't go any further or go back. So, we have no more options but to..." Blue said.

"Go above." Shunsui-taicho ended Blue's sentence.

As Shunsui-taicho said his statement, he blow up the ceiling by using a kidou. And the three flash stepped up above and moving towards where the Shunsui-taicho and the Commander-General must meet.

"Well, look what we have here. A going away party." Captain Shunsui glanced to his left then to his right.

The three shinigami were surrounded on all sides by hollows. Hige's teeth rattled as he tried to stay calm. Blue was breathing hard, her vision blurring. She had used up all her energy in trying to retrieve her zanpakuto that she had none left for the escape.

"C-Captain...I...can't..." Blue's eyes closed as her body fell forward. Shunsui caught her by the waist and threw her over his shoulder.

"Ummm...wasn't the Commander supposed to be here right about now?" said Hige nervously.

Shunsui smirked. "They'll be here. Don't you worry."

The hollows advanced. Hige gripped his zanpakuto tightly for the attack. The Captain tipped his hat down to cover his eyes.

An explosion ripped through the front line of hollows kicking up rock and dust in the process. Hige covered his eyes from the strong gust of wind. Several more followed blowing through the enemy.

Commander Nishihara flashstepped through the confusion slaying hollows left and right. Captain Momo and Lieutenant Susana descended from the air blasting off kidos left and right.

"Right on time kid." said Shunsui to Nishihara as he reached them.

"CAPTAIN!! LIEUTENANT!! YOU CAME TO SAVE US!!" exclaimed Hige while clinging onto both Momo and Susana's legs.

"How's Blue?" asked the Commander.

"She's out cold. Used up all her spiritual energy. She'll be fine with some rest." replied Shunsui while showing the unconscious Blue slung over his shoulder.

"We're getting out of here." The Commander looked up high to his left at the entrance they had made to get here. "Go on ahead, we'll cover you."

Shunsui flashed towards the exit followed by the others.

Erin peered out through the large gapping hole in the tunnel ceiling the soul reapers made earlier and watched them leave.

"So much rucus just for some tiny pieces of knowledge that you may or may not use." said a voice from the shadows.

Smirking, Erin kicked a rock down the length of the tunnel. "That's the good thing about science. Nothing ever goes as planned."

"You're just going to let them escape like that then?" asked the voice.

"For now. I have all the time in the world." His mouth curled as he walked back to his lab in silence.

Kouta scribbled his name on the dotted line, closed the docket, and layed down his pen. "Done...all done. Finally."

He stretched his arms and yawned. The clock on the wall showed that it was a little past 10:45pm. The lieutenant had been stuck doing paperwork for the past 18hrs.

Falling into the chair again he tilted it backwards then forward. He glanced at the stacks of paperwork he had just completed and closed his eyes. "Never again...never again.."

Kouta yawned as he slid open the door to his home. " -yawn- You won't believe the type of day I've had." He stopped and blinked.

Sleeping on a spread out futon in the living room was Tsukino and Asuka. Backing up out of the room he shook his head and took a deep breathe. "This must be a dream. She can't be here." Kouta started to laugh. "I knew it. I fell asleep while working. Damn. "

"Kouta, is that you making all the noise?" said Tsukino while slowly getting up and rubbing her eyes.
"Wait a second! This has to be a dream, she can't-!" Kouta fell backwards from being struck in the head with a pillow.

Tsukino pressed a finger on her lips. "You'll wake her up." Asuka was fast asleep, her face slightly puffy from crying.
"I must be losing it."

*later that afternoon*

The Sun was up, directly above your head I say, quite peaceful , birds are still churning beautifully, wind blows moderately, cicadas humming peacefully at Soul Society... (man what's with this description?) and yeah, it applies to the 3rd squad(weird, we hoped some uproar at that place)... too quiet...

He walked towards his balcony and yawned really wide, closing his eyes while doing so.

On his surprise and shock Tyson punched Gigai Azrai's face and sent him flying down below.

Azrai looks up to Tyson's balcony and flash steps up there.

Azrai explained Tyson of his planned journey and that he wanted the help of another captain for this and thus he decided to ask for his help.

Azrai: -grins- perfect It'll be a little rough trip, so you better pack yourself well LOL

Tyson: Yeah, I will, I'll bring one of my officers too, I bet he'll agree to come with me in a second

Tyson: Well you better take your gigai to eat In the meantime I'll prepare my things.

Azrai left alongside his gigai and 4th seat officer to eat while arguing with his gigai on the road.

Tyson went back to his office and prepared his things.

After 2 hours, he was all set and ready to go.

He went outside of 6th squad's barracks and awaited for his officer to regroup with him and head over to 3rd squad's barracks.

The officer came with his backpacks as fast as he could.

Officer: Sorry I delayed a bit Tyson Taicho.

Tyson: That's ok, are you all set ... Ziraki-kun?

Ziraki: Yes sir, all set and ready to go

Tyson: Good. Well then ... let's go.

The captain and the 3rd seat of 6th squad headed over to 3rd squad's barracks to head over on their long awaited journey.

Ziraki was thinking to himself finally some real action I can't wait to start the mission when ^^

Tyson: Ziraki are you ready for a hard mission and some tuff fighting?

Ziraki: Yes sir I've been waiting for this moment for a long time ^^

Tyson: good ok then let’s get going.

Ziraki: yes sir ^^

The 6th squad captain and his 3rd seat officer flash stepped off to the 3rd squad barracks. Ziraki griped his zanpakutou tightly with excitement ^^

The giant Senkaimon in the Serietei opened up as Captain Shusui lept through with Blue slung over his shoulder. Captain Momo and Luietenant Susana were close behind with Hige latched onto Momo's foot.

"Ahhh!" He shouted with his eyes closed slamming face first onto the ground.

Commander Nishihara stepped through sheathing his zanpakutou and proceeded to walk passed the rescue team.

Shunsui glanced up at him quietly as did the others.

The Commander had a serious look on his face.

"Send Blue to the Medical Center immediately Captain Shunsui. A Captain's Meeting will be held in a few hours." He said in a low tone.

Things had not gone the way they were planned. And he was slightly displeased with the outcome of the mission, regardless of them being successful.

Forty minutes had passed by quickly.

Blue was already being monitored within the halls of 4th Squads Medical Center while the Captain's were preparing for their Meeting. Slowly the Captains of the 13 Squads filed while waiting for the others.

The Commander stopped at his office to take care of some things quickly while taking a short rest. Sitting in his desk chair he leaned back closing his eyes when he heard a voice.

"Nice to see you again, Commander Nishihara."

Nishihara opened his eyes and glanced at a corner of the room where Azrai's gigai was also sitting in a chair leaning back against the wall.

"I thought I told you not to enter my quaters without permission?" The Commander stated.

"Oi, Oi, is that any way to greet me after you requested me to carry out that mission?" Azrai said leaning forward making a motion with his hands.

"Your reports then." The Commander cut him off.

Captain Hinamori yawned as she walked into her office. "What a busy day."

There was a Captain's meeting in a couple of hours that required her immediate attendance. Time for rest would need to wait. The sight of neatly stacked folders on her desk caught the Captain's eye. "Amazing. I didn't expect him to finish it all before I got back."

Momo looked around the room on the off-chance that her lieutenant was passed out from exhaustion. The room was empty.

"I'll need to thank him properly after the meeting." She said while looking through the dockets and smiling at the trash bin full of empty pens.

"Should we wake him?" asked the soul reaper.

"I don't think so. He looks dead."

--> Kouta sleeping uncomfortably on a pillow outside the door to his own home

Suddenly, the door slid open. Tsukino walked out, hands on her hips and eyes falling on her husband's body restlessly sprawled on the floor. "I told him hours ago that he could come in." She sighed.

"Ms. Tsukino, Good afternoon!" greeted the soul reapers.

"I hope he's not blocking your way." She said smiling back.

"No ma'am. We were just passing by."

"Is the lieutenant going to be alright?"

"He'll be fine after some rest." She said while grabbing one of Kouta's legs then dragging him into the room.

"..." The two soul reapers stared until the door closed.

Tsukino pulled the blanket over Kouta who was fast asleep despite having been dragged across the floor. "You're really something you know that." She said brushing back her hair and kissing him on the forehead.

Asuka walked out of the bathroom, her hair slightly frizzled from the shower. "Thank you Tsukino, for everything. I should umm...be going now. Umm...Is that Kouta?"

"He was outside all night sleeping on the floor." She said while starting to fix up the room.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. I'll help." said Asuka immediately.

"No, it's alright. It's not much." She replied. "You should go check up on the others now that they're back."

Asuka was silent for a moment then nodded. Hugging Tsukino and walking over her sleeping lieutenant, she proceeded to the Medical Station as fast as she could.

"So I was there with hollows all over the place, like twenty of 'em. The Captain was injured and it was up to me to save Blue. So..." Hige went on to the crowd of Squad 4 and 5 members surrounding his bed.

"Well, what seems to be going on here." interupted Captain Shunsui who was interested in the commotion, rather the nurses which had gathered there as a result. A few of them edged away knowing full well the Captain's tendencies with women.

"Err...I was just telling them about the mission and how it was a success." replied Hige nervously.

"I see. Well, don't let my presense interupt you." He said while standing there.

"So yea...as I was saying. There were hollows and..."

Suddenly a bed pan went flying over the crowd smacking Hige straight in the face. "You!" yelled Asuka.

"Damn, who the hell threw that?!!" exclaimed Hige while rubbing his face.

Asuka grabbed him by the collar and shook him violently. "You left me behind you idiot!"

"A-As-uka?! I-I c-can e-e-expl..." He barely could manage to say.

The crowd backed off quickly. Captain Shunsui tipped his hat over his face and quickly left. That's one fight I don't want to be involved in.

"Err... do you think we can uhmmm... move her?" one shinigami said.

"I don't know." another shinigami replied.

The two 4th squad shinigamis are inside the hospital room of Blue and eventually just starring at the female shinigami. Blue's arms are wrapped fully by bandages and a thin tube was visible at her right hand. It is a dextrose. There is also an oxygen mask at her and she is breathing heavily.

"I think she is having a nightmare..." the shinigami commented.

Blue's both hands are quite grasping the bed cover tightly and her face expression is quite scared.

at her inner mind...

"Kill her~~ Kill her~~ Kill her~~" a quite monsterous voice said.

The voice keep on muttering this statement all over and all over again. Blue was just standing in the middle of the darkness shivering with fear and don't know what to do. She can't even move. There was a pair of red eyes suddenly peered out at the darkness and slowly moving towards the shinigami. When the creature is about few feet away from Blue a loud noise was heard.

at her room

BANG!

"BLUE!!" Nobou shouted while opened the door like a madman.

"YIKES!" the two shinigamis yelled in unison.

"Err... uhmmm.. sorry.. is Blue--" Nobou apologized but he was cut off by a thrown apple.

"Yeouch! Who the heck?!" the 11th seater shouted again.

"You mad man! I thought my heart will stop!!" Blue shouted back while holding the oxygen mask.

"Eh?! Sorry. Are you alright?" Nobou asked.

"Yeah. I guess. Hey! wait a minute! where... err... I'm in the Medical Center?" Blue said.

*sigh* "Yup. Your in the Medical Center. Shunsui-taicho is the one who carried you all the way here." Nobou explained.

"Oh... I see. I guess, I fainted when we were about to escape." Blue said.

"Anyway, How is everyone? Hinamori-taicho, Susana-chan and Commander Mitsuhara." Blue asked.

Obviously, everyone inside the room where shocked by hearing the former Commander's name. Blue have no idea that there is a new Commander since, when Mitsuhara-sotaicho was defeated by Nishihara she was still locked in the Hell with the other shinigamis.

"Well... you see.. Mitsuhara-sotaicho is not our..." Nobou was about to explain everything to Blue when Shunsui-taicho entered the room and interrupt her.

"I'll explian it to her. I believe that Hige needs a medication for now..." Shunsui-taicho said while looking at the two 4th squad shinigamis.

"Hai!" the two said and leave the room.

As the two unranked shinigamis left the room, Shunsui-taicho started the explanation to Blue. It took him about several minutes before he answered all the questions of Blue and as well Nobou.

"Very Well. I better go now, we, captains have a meeting and I'll be late if I don't leave now. Get well soon then, kid." Shunsui-taicho said and tipped his hat to Blue.

As the captain left the room, Blue's head is still lowered covering her eyes. Nobou knew that Blue is quite disappointed because, she pledged her loyalty to the former Commander and she have no idea who is that Nishihara-sotaicho since, she entered the squad 7 years ago.

"Err... Blue. You see.." Nobou said but he was cut off.

"Nobou, you have to go back at the headquarters, right? In this kind of time, I bet your sparring with the new recruits. You better get going now." she said.

Nobou took a deep breath and speak up. "Your right. I'll go now and tell Nico fuku-taicho your status. See you later I guess." he said.

As the Captains all arrived to the meeting they spoke amongst themselves quietly until the doors opened once more.

They all glanced to the door as Nishihara proceeded through.

"I apologize for my late arrival." The Commander spoke, looking straight ahead towards his chair, though continuing to stand he glanced around the room and continued.

"It's been quite some time since I've seen this." He said, losing track for a moment.

"why were we called here, Commander?" Hitsugaya stated, intending to focus Nishihara's concentration on the meeting at hand.

"Before continuing I would like to re-introduce you all to some old friends." He said as the doors began to creak open once more.

The Captains attention focused on the shadows on the other side. Once the figures came into view, their eyes all widened.

"Commander Nishihara is a good man." A nurse of the 4th Squad said to Blue while bringing her some food.

Blue quietly looked up at the nurse but remained quiet. I don't even know who this Nishihara is...and now he's our Commander and let alone 1st Squads Captain? What am I supposed to do?

"He was the former Commander before Mitsuhara you know?" The nurse hestiantly continued.

"How long ago was that?" Blue asked.

"Seems like forever, but it's only been nine years since Mitsuhara was announced Commander after Nishihara's disappearance." The nurse stated.

"Why was he allowed to be Commander again though? After disappearing?" Blue questioned.

The nurse glanced at her and fell silent. "It was decided by Central 46. I'm sure he will answer any questions you have, seeing as your in the 1st Squad."

"Hello!" Captain Azrai said with a wide smile as he entered the room, filing into his normal position amongst the other Captains.

Acompanied by Captain Azrai was Urahara and Yorouchi.

"This brings back memories." Urahara said softly as he glanced around the room.

Yorouchi's arms were crossed as she glanced around the room at the Captains. It was like old times but with different faces.
