I'll be sure to come back here often and check up!

I thought I should bring up that some of the Captains and Lieutenants haven’t posted in months, I was just wondering how long you can keep your title until you loose it? Because if more of the spots were open then I think that more people would be active in the hopes of getting that spot.
Yes that is a big concern of mine!
In the past the Lieutenant Status was very easy to get, even if you submitted a few wallpapers you were given the rank! But after that the captains decided to make the rank something only a contributing active member could recieve.
So anyway there are lots of Lieutenants that were never active and now that I'm try trying to "revive" Soul Society the Lieutenants and even the Captains will have to reregister here to confirm that they still are active and wish to retain their rank.
The Seats and Positions will be reset if they don't reply.
Has anyone got any suggestions on how to keep tab of who is active and who isnt? Perhaps a quaterly check ever year?

Well I log in almost every day to AP :P So keeping an eye on who's active and who's not is pretty easy for me.
But, perhaps a good way to keep track on who's active or not among the Captains and Lieutenants of SS is to create a thread here in which each one of the Captains and Lieutenants would have to "sign" (post a signature) like an assistance sheet every month during the first 10 days of it and the last 10 days without failing to do so. If by any chance someone fails to do so, they would earn a warning, and after 3 warnings, they will be taken out of their position so that someone that is more active could take their place and possibly become a better Captain or Lieutenant. I don't know if this would be to Pyro-san's likings since he sometimes vanishes for months xD but yeah, I think that would be a great way to keep track on who's active among the elites of SS :]

Well I like your idea Tyson and I second it. If we had a thread that required the Captains and Lieutenants to sign in once a month or loose there rank it would assure our Élites are active. The 3 strike rule is a good one and I agree with that as well ^^.
I would say lets have more competions with the Hueco Mundo gruop...and try to recruit more active members
Hmm i agree with tysi... but i'm still pretty busy with university myself and my pc got some hardware/software problems again -.- i hate it... i hope that i can buy a netbook as soon as i have the money which would be in march or april
if i get one that'd mean i can log into ap more often, cuz i'm spending most of my time in college courses or i work ; ;
but with a netbook i can login while i'm in university *hehe*
anyways i try to be more active... need to wall more >.<

Yes, please don't vanish again. At least log in once a month. Me no want you to lose your position ;_;
Yes we don't want you to loose your Taicho rank, your a great Taicho ^^
Is there any chance that there would be a new realse of the 13 Squads coming out soon.. Like who belongs to each squad.
There probably will be. And this time a sticky would help for it to not get lost with the rest of the unpinned locked threads D:
Yeah that way it wont get closed and forgotten =(

You guys could just recreate the group.
If that is accomplished:
But, seriously, tyson's recommendation is a good idea, but, not all would be willing to post in a thread every month just to verify their presence. Most probably only die-hards would remember to do that every month.
Well, if you want here's what I think:
Good captains and lieutenants are hard to find, maybe you should take the consideration of lengthening the posting requirement. Have you guys tried PMing the lieutenants and captains that you're unsure of if active or not?
Incentives, promotions and demotions will work in the favor of finding the better members.
The game threads are very useful in finding active members.
Try recruiting active people we get to encounter in the forums.
Hrm... seems like I'm running a campaign here.

Yes, I haven't just been creating the Soul Society RPG! The new promotion system and attendance system is well under way! I'm fairly pleased with my current captains! All of them have pretty much responded to this thread (except Nis and I hope WIllko307 is alright =/). Not to mention they've all been active here for more than a year!
The new promotion system will also highly reward those who recruit so I hope in this way we'd get more members!
More on that later, I'd like to get the basics for the RPG outlined first =]!

I bet Pyro-san have PMed and posted comments in their UPs. Still, if they're not logging in, then obviously there isn't going to be a reply.
And back then, there were a bunch of active members, including Captains, Lieutenants (If you can believe that), and even Shinigamis. But I don't know what it is that eventually a group starts decaying and active members disappear :/ Maybe they get bored? Maybe something happened to them? Maybe they're super busy now and don't have enough free time? In any case, those inactive members of high ranking will sadly have to be removed from their position so that other active members may make good use of it. Of course this doesn't means that the newly promoted member may not become inactive in time, so that's when the assistance sheet comes into play. It will not only keep track of who's active, but will force members that value their position to log in every month :]
