Another wall contest?
How about something smaller...
like "Design your own anime uniform contest" (lol) or something.
If we just have walling contest after walling contest,
ppl will be very tired from all that work.
So maybe having something a non-walling contest in between would be a good idea?

Also looking the members of our group, the half them is a very good waller, so dunno whats the matter here.
And I'm not very good with fanart and OAA. I rather go for a wall, even when means more work.

My suggestion: how about a Stalker School Contest?
Cause knowing our lazy stalkers, it will be autumn, when they do something :P
It's a easy theme, there are a lot of scan with school uniforms or class/school themes.

If im not mistaken, the scenic group already did a walling contest like this recently. It would be rather repetitive if we did it too. =/

Designing a uniform would seem rather difficult for most people, and i don't think that many people would be able to join. So i suppose another walling contest would be appropriate. Or we could also do something simple like what we did with the stalker egg hunt contest. Like maybe instead of searching for eggs, we all look for each of the participating members icons/badges...these badges would first be created/designed by each member. Then i would hide them in certain places like as we did with the eggs in the previous egg search contest. It might be an old idea, but i think it would be fun. ^^

Hell right. Scenic just had such contest. But the summer is also not the right idea, due that FMN and Scenic has a currently running join project "Summer Job" with this kind of theme.
And yeah, walls. But if some vector is accepted, that also good for me.

I have currently not better idea as the School. Is quite a easy theme and will be actual in autumn, so thats why I thinked it could be okay.
Any suggestions are welcomed, I try to power up my brain cells too :P

But since its summer, half of me wants to still do a summer related contest.
Put them together and what do you get? Summer School! (jk jk)
I won't be able to participate in any contest if its like going to happen in July though.

I just dunno if anyone would be able to join though. Looking back at the previous contest, the amount of entries were rather sad. The contest was even on for a whole 2 month but only 2 people managed to make a new wall for it. =/

Why not take a little inspiration from Worth1000?
We could do a photoshopping contest like put your fav. anime character in a real-life situation, or something like that.

I say we have to wall a series with few walls. as in fewer than 15 or twenty. and make that the only stipulation.

This being the Stalker Group, we could do something like take a picture of a real life celebrity and photoshop an anime character into that, so it looks like the anime character is stalking the celeb!

Replacing real-life persons with anime characers. So that instead of President Bush holding a speech in front of a crowd, it's Naruto! Or instead of Adriana Lima on the catwalk, you photoshop Haruhi Suzumiya into it :3

Anime characters with/against celebrities! Like placing an anime character against a famous boxer in a boxing ring. Or Angelina Jolie holding the hand of an anime character instead of one of her children.

I reckon those things are quite easy to make for everyone. The better photoshopper might be able to blend the anime character a bit better than the inexperienced, but of course originality will be rewarded as well. So I think it can be a good contest.

So simple image manipulation. it'd look better if then celebrity was vectored into anime styling, which shouldn't be too terribly hard to do. if you can vector at all, you should be able to figure it out.

Putting anime characters to a stock photo is a way too simple, and kinda random.
Also don't like the "celebrity vectoring", I can imagine better anime characters as some looser Hollywood star.

@GA: Well im not too fond of the celebrity thing either, and it seems too easy. =/ Got anything else?

You know the whole problem is, when we have a complicated contest like making a wall, there will always be the same competers, plus everyone is too busy with big contests in other groups. An easy contest will allow the less-skilled photoshopper in our group to have a chance and learn some stuff. Don't forget that what takes us a few minutes, can take a few hours for a less-experienced artist.
So I hope that the people who want to compete in a contest, but think they're not good enough, can perhaps post their ideas here?


By the way, I remember there was a walling contest in some group once where you had to base your wall on an album cover of a cd. I always wanted to do something like that too. Maybe we can do that too, making an anime version of a dvd cover of a famous movie, for instance?
