You could make it a multi level contest...
And you could enter into one or if your up to it all categories.

Vectors
Banners
Icons
(or anything else you could think of)
The catch... But you could not get more than one randomly assigned character. The pose, background, could change. But you would be able to do multiple versions of the same character...
Although you could have other characters only as long as the focus of the artwork was of your assigned character.
And you could enter into one or if your up to it all categories.

Nice idea! I like the idea of having it on a multi level scale. That way more people can join since not everyone here are wallers. =)
But if we're having many categories for the contest, will we split the contest according to categories like having 1st-3rd place for avatars, 1st-3rd place for wallpapers...etc? Or just have 1st-3rd place for the whole mixture of categories? If we're going along with the 1st one, then that means we have to have LOTS of people joining in since there's so many categories. @~-J@ Judging from the previous contest, i don't quite see that happening. .__.

Umm..i agree..but its good idea though 
Then action must be taken and PMs sent out...Notifying members that such contest does or will exist...@chibimisao: if you fell you don't have the time you write up the notification and I'll send out the PMs...Or choose a team to send out the PMs...that seems the best solution for gathering larger number of participants. Just an Idea...
Also you have the choice of monochromatic, Black and white, and other such creative devices...
