So here it is. Who exactly is Hayate. I only got into Naruto after the Zabuza saga. I watched an episode here and there, but didn't really pay attention. I just wanted to ask cuz

Hayate was a Konoha Jounin who had judged the Chuunin Exam preliminaries. He was kinda sickly looking and coughed a lot but he was actually quite strong and mastered a very complicated sword technique at a young age. Unfortunately, he was assassinated by a representative from Sand because he overheard something he wasn't supposed to. He was shown at the funeral because he was one of the people who had died during the 'conflict' between Sand and Konoha.

I just wasn't sure, cuz it seemed like a ton of people knew him, like that ANBU girl....And some how she knows Kakashi as well. So how exactly are those three connected?? Haha, I thought Hayate was some sorta really important character who died. They never did say why he was sick like that right?

I don't follow the manga very well, but as far as I remember from the anime, they never specified why Hayate always appeared sick. I assume that he, Kakashi and that girl are all connected because they were all once ANBU (perhaps they had gone on some mission together before?), and ANBU members have a particular 'bond' with each other since they have to rely heavily on each other in life or death missions.

So are the 7 of them goin after each of the 9 bijuus sealed inside their jinchuuriki and are they going after the jinchuuriki that has the creator of the bijuus sealed within ( If I remebr correctly, the main man behind the bijuus is called Tsuki Ookami and is sealed within sum chick called Karasu)? Or is it just Naruto and Gaara?

Ryu-chan: Your in like season 2 around like #32 or so. Well the leaving thing dosn't happen till like #109-110. It was near midway of one season.

Shun-kun: For the akatsuki think, you are so on top of things but how they are seriously going to play it out, I want to see it. Since they from time to time alter the show from what is in the manga.

As for the Kakashi Spoiler you mentioned. He may be able to. I know Itachi specifically says only 3 people are left who can bring out the ability. Him, Sasuke and a third person. I thought it refered to Kakashi, but obito could have been alive back then still too or maybe it was someone else.

Hopefully the Gaiden arc will say. But don't get your hopes up too high. The new season started and they are still airing junk episdes.
Guess the rumors about the gaiden arc appering in the middle of the season was true!
