..Well I really like all three of the main characters in Tokyo Babylon, but my favorite would have to be Seishirou-san.. I know what he does to Subaru is awful.. But there's just something about him that I always liked. And still do. I think that he really did have feelings inside and was just afraid/ashamed to share them because of what he'd been taught his whole life.. Subaru is a close second though.. How about everyone else?

Hokuto's my favorite. I liked her at the beginning because of the comic relief she brought to the series. However, at the end, I loved her even more for giving her life to save Subaru.

I think I like the way that the characters interact more than the actual characters on their own :3 I mean, of course Seishirou would still be awesome without Subaru (and vice versa!), but it's really the tragedy of the whole situation that makes the characters shine. It's also important to note that a huge chunk of Subaru's character development is grounded in his relationship with Seishirou. They wouldn't be nearly as interesting and entertaining separately! (:

In the last two volumes, it really does seem that what Sieshiro did to Subaru really change him. They are really close!

But my fave characters would have to be Subaru and Hakuto because I love how they are! I am a fellow twin and I know that if my twin was going to die, I would try to take her place!

Two of them die.. (Seishirou and Hokuto) and then Subaru pretty much is emotionally dead.. It makes me really sad because they all seemed so happy! It's just like.. Why couldn't they have just stayed like that forever?? *sob*

Seishirou was going to tell his feelings for Subaru to Subaru... but the wind blows by and make Subaru can't hear what Seishirou spoke.. and then Seishirou dies

Actually, for some reason I think the smoking increases his sexiness that it's just weird to have him smoking. His cuteness was pretty much gone at the beginning of X though. He lost his innocence and the cute attitude, and therefore his cuteness. The smoking really had nothing to do with destroying the cuteness in my opinion, it was already gone. xD

However, I think that he did hear Sei-chan's last words, but it was just set up so we couldn't know them. I really wish that we could've.. It's something I ponder quite often, what he might've said. I know that there is the usually thought of "I loved you". But there is also the possibility that he said "I hate you". However, I don't think that could've been right, because in the first place Seishirou said that he neither loved nor hated Subaru (right) and for him to just suddenly hate him, it'd be weird. Also, there's the fact about after his death, when Fuuma talks about Seishirou's eye, saying that it was Seishirou's wish that Subaru have his eye, so that he might go back to his "undamaged" (physical, anyways) pre-Seishirou state. Fuuma is quite serious when it comes to wishes, and it might be that Seishirou's intention was that pure, but there's also the chance that the only reason why Subaru was to be given his eye was so that he might become the next Sakurazukamori, and be left to suffer, not being able to let his life end because of Seishirou living on within him through his eye. Could it be that this was just the cruel fate Seishirou had in mind? Or was it an act of compassion. I guess we'll never know. It would just make my life if when/if CLAMP finishes X, they'll have a flashback that shows exactly what Seishirou said to Subaru as he lay dying. Or perhaps his true wish could be revealed. I doubt it, but it would be really nice if that could happen.

Well, anyways, sorry for writing so much.. xD Maybe that will give you something to think about though! ^-^

My favourite character from Tokyo Babylon is Sakurazuka Seishirou. Second best is Sumeragi Hokuto.

It's revealed that Clamp planned Hokuto's death from the beginning of series. Ageha Ohkawa writes storyline and it was her idea. We detest or love her for it...

Don't joke around, please... He'd lost "innocence" since his birth in Sakurazuka-mori clan.
That's my opinion. Raised by Setsuka for a cold-heart murderer from early years of his life. He was taught by her from the beginning.
Cigarettes make him look cool and for me it's a simple addiction. But not for calming himself. Still I wonder why he wears dark glasses all the time, even if it's too dark to see his eyes.

Maybe we will know what Sei-san said in X/99. Somewhere, sometime...

Maybe Subaru will reveal this ultimate Clamp's secret. Of course after dealing with Chi no Ryu's Kamui and recharge from katathonical state of his mind. I was really curious why, after the death of his "former lover", other Ten no Ryu didn't have to put him on a wheelchair and give a drip to make him stay alive and sane..
