Well, I for one really love X/1999. That's pretty much my favorite manga.. Ever. I just wish that it would get finished.. And why on Earth did they have to:
I also like other CLAMP series, mostly ones where X/TB characters show up, but some others. Like I really like Seishirou in Tsubasa. I was so happy when I found out he would be coming back for it!

X is my favorite CLAMP work. Next would have to be TSUBASA: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE and then xxxHOLiC.
Kobato and Murikuri are great too, but they lack the dark atmosphere that I love baout CLAMP's works.

Yeah.. Angst is where CLAMP is at their best. Definitely. That's why X is my favorite, even though it makes me cry. However, I really like Tokyo Babylon too. It has the angst factor, but it also has some humor too. So it's like the best of both worlds. I really like every thing that I've read by CLAMP so far though!
Well the only CLAMP books that I have read are Suki, Clamp School Detectives, Tokyo Babylon, X, Legal Drug, Tsubasa, and XXXHolic. My favorite would have to be Legal Drug because its so different from all of the other series' that they have made and I cant get enough of their shonen ai humor! *they really like to tick off the fans every once in a while ;o;* sry I havent been around for a while everyone! btw >.>
I love Rayearth.. I think that was actually my first CLAMP Manga... and Wish is great. I don't like X-1999, don't know why..
I haven't read XXXholic so far, and I just started with Tsubasa, for my sister is buying these Mangas, and I don't want to send my money on something thath's already in my family... so I always have to wait till I visit my sister ^_~

Hmm... You're the first person that I've talked to that hasn't liked X. I'd ask why but you said you didn't know. xD I really didn't care too much for Rayearth actually though... And I've never read Wish so I wouldn't know... Is it really good?
Well.. one point may be that I just didn't got into the story... I know lots of people love esp the story, but I thought it was way to confusing, and to many dead people... I have no problems with people dying, but... I don't know.. this was all to sad, and that wasn't what I wanted to read.
I don't like the main character (Kamui, right?), for he's too dramatic, or what ever you will call it...

Yeah... A lot of people do die in X. But I guess that's to be expected. If you're going to have a battle that decides the fate of the world, then I suppose it is necessary to have casualties though... It only makes sense. And I agree... When you watch it, X does suck the happiness right out of you. Although I do disagree with you on characters. Out of a cast that large, there are only a few that I don't like. Have you ever seen the anime though? (Although even more people die in that...)

I've seen the movie for two times, but didn't really get the story because I hadn't read X at that time.
I dunno but the Anime was once shown on TV Germany, but I wasn't really interested so didn't watch it.

Yeah, the X movie wasn't that great. If you hadn't read the manga or watched the anime you probably wouldn't really get it. I like it because it's X, but it's not nearly as good compared to the other tellings of the story. I've never read Legal Drug though... What's it about?
It's about two boys who work in a drugstore together, and they get some "extra" work from the owner (they complete the orders with their special abilities lol xD) . they have to do it together, which is not very easy at the beginning, because they don't seem to like each other...but as time goes by, their feelings start to change ^^
it's a really cute story, and I just love the characters and the drawings ^^

Yeah, I'm a big CLAMP fan.. Everything that I've read by them is usually really great. However, I'm not liking Kobato as much so far... I usually go for series that have a really deep story behind them. And so far, I haven't noticed as much. This may be because I've only read the second two parts, but I bet it will get better soon. Hopefully! ^^

Animes made form Clamp mangas are worse than oryginal mangas. For example TRC, they made a crap.
