A wallpaper-project sounds better for me though. :D
We could either portray a story from either one of the games, picking the most prominent and important moments and walling them. Each of us could pick their favorite scene/moment from that story and represent it.
Or if we want to involve more people, we could have some of us writing a small fanfiction and others portraying it in a wallpaper (or more than one if it's there's more than one scene) ...

Well I have no desire to do a wallpaper, so if that how's it end up you can count me out. :(
You wouldn't be out. As I said we could make it so that some of use write a fictional story (a small one) and other portray that story as a wallpaper. You could take care of the first part, for instance. :)

Omni, since you hang around shrinemaiden.com (I still have to sign up there), is there any written fanwork/story that's worth being read and subsequently illustrated (as a wallpaper)? I need some inspiration. :X

Would anyone be interested to join in a project to build a website for writers and scanlators?
We at the Voile Gallery are looking for editors and such, and we would love it if anyone (you ShiNN who has Photoshop) could pick up the task of the many releases that are just dying to be done.
What I am proposing is a long term project in helping both Voile/ Gensokyo.org / and our site in the future as a part of a long term Touhou commitment (not really) to expand the western community in Touhou. (disregarding this means welcoming trolls etc)
I am very interested, and it is hoped this will help to better the Touhou community even further.

I suppose if you like, there is a page on "Potential Comics" in the Touhou Wiki that is piling up and really could use editors on them.
