Well, it would have been nice to have had a higher number of votes...but I shouldn't complain too much with 20. I mean, how many members are in this group? And we only get 20 votes?

Ok, so as you're probably wondering, who won? Before I tell you, I just want to say that I personally find all 4 entries to be quite imaginitive and were all enjoyable to read. The votes were also nearly evenly distributed across the 4 entries...but, there is a winner, and the votes say....

So, now that we have a winner, if there are any volunteers out there with a banner or two to submit for display on the front page of the group page, I guess just post them in this thread. hitome-sakura can then have her choice (if there's more than one). Now I know we had at least 1 volunteer at the onset of this contest...hopefully you're still willing. The banner should say something along the lines of: "October 2006 Writer's Block Contest Winner" and have "hitome-sakura" somewhere in there as well.

Thanks for the effort on all who competed or helped out. Hopefully, we can have these more frequently and have some better participation.
