OMG HE'S ALIVE!!!
I doubt anyone has noticed that I've been gone, but in any case, I've been without internet for the past few months. And I'll probably be without internet for the next few months too. Why? It doesn't matter...
Anyway, I've been busy with schoolwork for the past few months (well, not really, but it makes me sound like a good boy). I've been playing a lot on my Xbox 360. And I mean a lot! I got to play some really good games that I won't soon forget. I'll just list them out for you.
Halo 3 - eh... not bad, really, but not super amazing. It was good. Lets just leave it at that.
Bioshock - Wow. Great game! Intense atmosphere. I hope to play it again soon. This was one amazing experience.
Oblivion - So much to do... The main story isn't anything special, but the different guilds are so interesting. It's really amazing what the developers have packed into this game. I doubt I'll finish it all before I die!
Mass Effect - Not bad. Really. It's the first sci-fi RPG I've played, and I rather liked it. It seemed a bit claustrophobic and soulless to me, though.
Guitar Hero 3 and Rock Band - Guitar hero 3 was great. The best guitar playing of all of the related titles. Hammer ons and pull offs worked smooth as butter, and Expert Mode was challenging! I still haven't even finished it yet! (curse you Raining Blood!). Rock Band is great in a crowd. Get four friends together and you're gonna have a blast. Otherwise, if you're a guitarist (like me) you're better off sticking to guitar hero if you wanna play solo.
Call of Duty 4 - Very fun. Very addicting and very adrenaline-pumping. It's great, but if it had some of the features of Halo 3, it'd be perfect. Since it doesn't, it's not.
Gears of War - I've already beaten this game ages ago, but I revisited it on the harder difficulties, and it's still so much fun. It's exactly what harder difficulties should be (unlike Call of Duty 4 which is what harder difficulties shouldn't be).
Crackdown - It was entertaining. Not a super amazing game, but fun nonetheless. This game has some hilarious moments that are just too good to miss.
Assassin's Creed - Stunning visuals. The idea is great, but the execution left some wanting. I did not like the combat at all. i guess ninja gaiden spoiled me. Still worth a revisit.
The Orange Box - I guess I've saved the best for last. Firstly, WHOEVER HAD THE IDEA TO INCLUDE HALF-LIFE 2 AND EPISODE 1 IN THIS PACKAGE IS WORTHY OF My WORSHIP! Because my computer isn't good enough to handle HL2 I missed out on this amazing title. But thanks to The Orange Box i got to experience one of the greatest gaming experiences in my entire life. and Portal. Wow. Pure Genius. That's all I'm gonna say.
Games that I'm looking forward to in 2008:
Ninja Gaiden 2
Halo Wars
Mirror's Edge
Gears of War 2
Fable 2
StarCraft 2 (I hope)
Afro Samurai (yes, a game is coming out, and it looks pretty cool)
Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena
Other things that have happened to me...
Oh. I got a JOB!! Yeah, it sucks. I work at the deli department of my local supermarket. Not too bad really. Eh, as long as the money comes in, I'm happy.
Anime wise, not much has happened. I downloaded bought many of my favorite anime series. I finally got around to watching deathnote. I loved it up until halfway through. Then it just kinda sucked. Oh well.
College? I'm screwed. I'm just gonna chill at the community college for a bit. Then move my way up. What do I wanna do? Game art and graphic design. I'm not an artist (yet), but I sure as hell ain't a programmer.
Well, what else do you want me to say?
Bye for now. If you wanna talk to me more in depth, don't hesitate to message me ;)
