Injured
Well Spring is here baseball's in full swing and I finally got back into the practice of throwing around my baseball and pitching a little bit. I play a bunch of pick up games with some friends back home and try to keep my arm in throwing shape all season. I threw last Sunday on the 23rd and realized that I had a little bit of control issues but for the most part am doing good and got my fastball to clock a high 70 mph that day. So this 31st I decided to go throw again was was working a great breaking curve when I started to throw some fastballs. I threw a 71 mph and was going well until my foot got stuck in a dry clump of dirt out on the field and my rotation got all out of whack. Before I knew it my leg came out far off what I was using as the mound and my legs split a little. Pain shot up my leg into my pelvic region and I decided to keep throwing. Three pitches later I had to sit down. After a trip to the nurses I was faced with the bad news. I had a minor groin pull. It hurts a little during day to day activities aka sitting, standing, and gaming, and I was told that I'll be out of action for 2-4 weeks. It's not fun to pull the groin and uh there's a lot of pain after waking up along the right side of the leg and pelvis itself so I'm hoping that by Tekkoshocon on the 11th-13th I'll be almost ready to go back into a pitching state. Until then my crotch is cold with ice bags.
