There's A New Budget In Town
Well the new budget that has the California University of Pennsylvania Japanese Anime Club (CUPJAC) receiving a $200 raise has officially been passed by the students this afternoon. Our club will now receive $1200 for next year, and it will be used to help propel the club to higher heights both in the eyes of its members and the community.
In a different note, my eye today was in an excruciating amount of pain, so a trip to the Health Center had me try to find my insurance info and a ride to a doctor's office 20 minutes away. I pulled it off, and it was discovered that a loose piece of hair from yesterday's hair cut had lodged itself in the side of my eye where the tears drain. A quick yank with the tweezers and I was out of there.
In other news, I still have my mind on the girl I found at Tekko, and am still looking forward to Otakon to hopefully see her again.
In one final piece of news, club elections are next Thursday (May 1st). I'm being opposed by someone more favorable than me, but I'm hoping most of the members realize how much I've done for the club behind the scenes and re-elect me. A successful re-election will mean I will be officially entering my 4th semester of service this upcoming Fall semester. Let's hope I don't get axed from office by a fellow officer.
