Hi guys! My first journal...
1 year 2 months ago
So I was supposed to tell you how excited I was because I saw the first cumulonimbus incus in a long, long time, since I live in a tropical area (Venezuela) with not enough convection and warm/cold air interaction to create these ones, but suddenly there was a blackout in almost all of the city. I got scared because I'm home alone at night but it got back (what can I say, I'm a scaredy cat :/)
So like I was saying, the ones we see all the time are these. Now, this huge, rapidly-growing cloud I'm seeing, it makes these beautiful lightning, and you can see many of those in a minute (something not very common here either), and it's far away to the west, I'm high up in an apartment building, and for me, it's like I'm watching the Northern Lights. I don't think this lightning will hurt someone because it's far away and no one lives in those mountains where it is located.
Now, I don't understand why am I so fascinated with severe weather if I hate thunder. Or viceversa.
