After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

My opinions on crediting are as follows.

I think it's important to give credit: to scans, brushes, vectors, styles, or pretty much anything you use that you didn't create in a vacuum. Even if the source didn't ask for credit, do it anyway. For one, it's humble and shows appreciation for the resources you work with; secondly, it develops a little network of friendly references and helps others find resources that they can also use; thirdly...

It's important to give credit when you expect credit.

I don't flip out when someone doesn't credit me for my scans or my icons or my coding. Even I can't keep track of where I get everything; it happens. But it annoys the hell out of me when people demand, in caps-locks or big font or bold or all the above, for credit-- and yet list no resources of their own to where they got all their pretty scans, textures, and brushes from.

It continually shocks me to be on AnimePaper and other graphic sites, and see so little reference to resources accompanied with such an insistant demand that works not be used elsewhere without crediting. What a strange and idiosyncratic nature so many have.
