Yes I'm writing my take on the FAQ. It will likely be incomplete and likely won't be all light and fluffy. If I offend your sensibilities so be it. I write what I write as its how I understand things and because I hope that somehow it will prevent some stupidity somewhere.
What is Animepaper?
Animepaper is the site you see before you. At its core, it is a community designed to develop and provide quality anime wallpapers to its members.
The site came to be to fill a hole that appeared when DeviantArt revised their policies concerning anime wallpapers; disallowing them due to copyright infringement. In their wisdom the founders recognised that the pursuit is not devoid of artistry and thus made Animepaper. And it was good.
The site has undergone numerous revisions since its creation in 2004 and has grown to what you see today. Despite this change, our focus is still on providing quality wallpapers and nurturing creativity.
