the rant for my first wall
I don’t want to see so many pictures that are made to make guys horny every day!! Nor do I want to see so many (sexually) subservient girls! Why are so many ecchi scans on the front page?! If most of the ecchi scans were of women like Revi from Black Lagoon, then I wouldn’t really mind, because guys aren’t likely to be able to take advantage of her. But seeing a whole bunch of weak, blushing (sexually), stupid-looking girls that are made for sexual harassment annoys me so much! And when I see one girl grabbing the other’s boobs for fun… it’s just… lame…
Ugh, and when a lot of people comment on the ecchi wallpapers but only comment only on the “chick,” I get annoyed! Why the derogatory term? Can’t just call them (underage) girls? And the fact that so many animes have these ecchi girls is just…grrrr [replaced paragraph about society]. Thankfully, I don’t see that many ecchi walls anymore, but the scans are still too shameless and degrading.
FYI, in the BL/yaoi that I support, it’s fanservice and made for women for the most part, yes, but the guys don’t grab each other for the heck of it when they’re not even potential lovers (I’m a part of the gender stereotype where women look for a reason for sex). Plus, they aren’t less powerful or less intelligent (at least in appearance lol) than men from “normal” anime/manga. Good thing I didn't choose a yaoi scan that is equally as smutty as some ecchi scans to make a revenge wallpaper, because I wouldn’t be proving much. And I don’t like the majority of those types of yaoi images anyways (the buttful shota ones, etc). As a side note, I read that Japan ranked highest on the list for keeping gender role differences (Scandinavia was the lowest). ... Please do not flame me for my opinions.

I sooo agree with you on every point. Everytime I visit AP, I never even take a look at the most popular scans because they're focused on degrading ecchi that's being downloaded by perverted men/boys. Those stereotypes are the exact reason why women are always being underestimated. Who said all women are defenseless like those girls in those scans groping each other for the amusement of horny men. Is it that hard for them to control hormones? Well, it shouldn't be. Great job on voicing your opinion, and nice job on your latest original art wall.
