Random ramblings
In first, I want to attire your attention to the second VectaDESU vectoring contest 2 - Retro-Rage which is now open for vote.
In second, I want the world to know that I can be pretty stupid sometimes. I was planning to take part to this second contest but take it easy and finally been too late to complete my vector... I was too absorbed in doing a wallpaper that the contest goes out of my mind. Happens.
I am two time more stupid because I picked up a hard scan to vector. Well, I think that if I picked up an easy one my focus on the contest would have been even lower. I don't really have excuses and think I need to give ones but well sorry to those who were waiting for my entry (gosh, it feel too self centered here X))
To make up for it, here is the preview of the unfinished vector for the contest.
Like you can see, it's anywhere but near completion... I work almost non-stop for 15 hours coloring it but it was a desperate case. Well, I think it's a good time to self reflect on my priorities ordering skill ^^"
In third, some news from the front. Like I said in the previous paragraph, I was too self absorbed in making a wallpaper (I am a lot self-something those days.) Which wallpaper was it are you asking yourself (or not.) It's a new one (yes another) that I don't speak previously except in the shout box. Since it's starting to be a ritual here come the preview:
God, I think I also have to stop starting new things before ending previous one. I have now 5 wallpapers in progress all in various states from almost complete to almost blank (ok, not really blank.) An other theme for self reflection, I guess.
The last but not the least thing I want to talk about is my tutorials about Inkscape. I think I will wait for the v6 to hit the net before doing anything. I am pretty some amazing features are going to make us go all crazy so I will wait. I am more and more thinking of doing a dedicated group instead of journal entry. It's more community-like than journal entry, I guess. So wait patiently for the v6 ^^
