I finally got around to watching this anime after neglecting to do so for such a long time for various reasons that I don't understand why now that I've seen this anime. I can't believe it took me so long to view these 14 amazing episodes. I love the fact how they aired them out of order. It's something you don't see in anime shows (I don't believe many shows can pull this off to begin with), but the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya did it extremely well. The show kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time and at the same time, had me laughing at many hysterical events that happened to the SOS Brigade. I see the reason as to why they ended the series with chronological episode 6, because it makes sense to lead everything up to that point. If there was a flaw that I was forced to point out on this show, it may be the lack of background history explained on Haruhi Suzumiya (how exactly she ended up being this all-powerful being) and what exactly happened "three years ago.* But even then, they hinted at exactly why for each reason and you had to piece it together in your mind and have some imagination as well.

My final rating for this show is a 9.5/10.
