Fantastic. I've become quite enraptured with the series, and so of course I scoured the archives looking for a CG wall, and was quite happy to find this one! The vector is great, the choice of scan is fabulous (totally captures the characters), they layout is balanced, and of course the concept is perfect. There are a few things you could do to improve the wall (make the pawns look less computer-graphics-y, etc.), but that is kinda unnecessary. One small change might be to re-arrange the "generals" in the background (they're all lined up until you get to Suzaku, and then there's a strange gap. Plus the guy behind him (it's that scientist guy, isn't it?) looks like a shadow since the positioning is similar. But I digress. Fabulous wall; please make more for Code Geass!

mmmm. this one looks good too! I mean even though its based on a chess setting, I think lelcoh looks good in anything in any place, except for dress up costumes or that super hero cape costume he wears in the tv serious. Any way I like this pic very much and I hope you can make more wallpapers like this! try one with clamp in it!

This is a great wallie, I love it. I especially like the shadows in the background of other characters as it gives as sense of mystery (even though I know who they are). I like the chess idea as it fits in so well with the anime and you carried it out so well. Great wallpaper

I like this wall!! the chessboard-like tiles and those shadowy mirage of Lelouch's enemies are very creative as Lelouch is a strategy-planner and he's not good in real combat. The chessboard and those chess pieces are actually Lelouch's puppet to win his war with Brittania...Very good artwork that really illustrate Lelouch's character.

Chess is such a fitting theme for Lelouch considering that he's a great chess player. The chess figures in the background really makes the characters stand out, especially C.C. and Lelouch. Love the effects here. Great job.

I also like the shadows of some characters behind them, it makes them look important, yet a background character at the same time. The pawns looks odd though...

Very good wall. I like the chess theme as it fits the show very well! I am thinking of making a similar one, and I was looking through to see if anything like this had been done. You did a really nice job =)

you've done an interesting job with the scan, even though i didn't get a good look of the scan before it was quarantined, it seemed like a lot of work just to clean it up. I must say you've done a superb job with the vectoring and compared to other wallpapers made with the same scan, you've done the best job making the characters look extremely cool.

At first, i would probably observe that using color in the wallpaper would be better, yet using a light shade of black/white and lowering the original color of the scan gives the wallpaper a unique and dazzling look thats isn't possible for a lot of other works.

The only thing I think would make it better is the use a different background. I'm thinking a more zoomed out background picture as a check board and use the knightmares as chess pieces . I personally think that the chess pieces you use in the background ruins the title of the wall, they all look like the pins in a boweling allay.

Otherwise, this is an amazing work worth giving credit to. Good job

The background is good and its good idea with the bad characters in the back. The wall is great, with awesome Lelouch and CC scan and well placed background like a chess board. but i don't know why the main characters don't really fit in... but it's great work really so i'll fav it ^O^ Continue doing things like this, they are pretty cool ^^
