Awesome background. The background came out really nice with the added things like the floating books and glowing prettyness. Yuki came out look too cartoonish, the curves are too pronounced and smooth.

/(O_O)/ Whoa, i didn't recognize this was from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya until i got a closer look! It's gorgeous, the tones of coloring and the books floating about is just like Nagato-san, also the lil witch hat is very cute! My favorite part about this wall, and yes i know this will sound odd, is the font. The font is PERFECT. like.... |(n_n)| ah, i cannot elaborate more. Font either makes or breaks a wall so often that when i see it used so nicely i'm like.... XD

I like how the wallpaper disappears into the darkness. The reflection of the night sky really adds depth to the picture too. Yuki is my favorite character in this series.

first impression would be a very nicely made wallpaper with yuki.

But it seems that the water is at a wrong angle to the "pretty-glowing-thingies" (although the link you posted also seemed to have the wrong angle) and when I say 'wrong angle' I simply mean that the water levels don't match up logically in that link. While in yours, it's more complex since there are more references to acquire a sense of angle.

Otherwise, the books are quite nicely placed and yuki is really cute!

Although I still do not understand the glowing 'blobs', if you may.

It's interesting viewing the link you provided and your wallpaper. The interpretation of 'at the edge of the world' can be quite different. While you portray that the edge of the world is behind yuki, the link could be seen as suggesting yuki standing at the corner to the edge of the world (bottom left of yuki) with the rest of the world bright behind her. Just ideas!

Well, I like everything about the wall (the colors, the water, the theme, the layout, etc.) until you get to Yuki's face, which is really round and overly cartoonish, and totally ruins the mood set by the rest of the wall. Thus, the vector is the weakest part of the wall, and if you put a little more work into that, the wall would be very nice indeed.

One of my all time favorites and certainly the most used wallpaper, even if I switch to another, this one comes back after a while. I love the anime, the vector, the layout and it's blue! I downloaded it months ago but didn't comment it at that time, not knowing how it would grow on me. But it certainly deserves to be .

nice wall =D he was the face of nagato hahaha the idea of the paper was very nice, with the pillars in the form of H (q I believe is in honor of the show itself) and the really cool textures, giving an impression that they are cracked and broken in many places the water was perfect! Not because of the design that is simple, but the "level of depth" in the wall. The author has, in water, the perfect depth for her to stay at the right level, both in front and in back of the paper, as the wallpaper has a diagonal view books around the water also looks nice, focusing on what makes the most nagato anime: read =X a straight face ever her usual clothes and school along with the cover that it uses the festival were very well designed (and as usual, she is holding a book XDDDD) suzumiya haruhi is a great anime, except that this second season have been much condemned by those who saw, because of the "eight infinity" (by the way, and also did not like that part a little, sometimes even skip many episodes that XDDD ) but who knows, with the movie coming out there (and it promises, the images), the series does not get a new gas, which in my opinion, missed with the endless ah! now I almost forgot ... balls of light were also, literally, bright, and with a great tone blue and white

Dang, that is some intense vectoring. Love the floating books and the darker feel (compared to the original). It's very lonely; the title matches well.

The extra touches you added are what really make this paper. The floating books and lights just add that much more, and really work well with the image.
