Looking at it,I also associate with the connection between humen and nature. very nice. i guess i'm just an amateur i didn't notice the difference in mane (except the overall darkened lighting). and are the characters a bit tipped over from the original? like to that side-->? just a tipsy feeling i guess haha.

anyway i think you did a great job on the control of lighting and the beautiful background. most importantly a very wise choice of art. i don't know which anime li kun is but i loove it! :)

For your first submission, I have to say you have done a superb job. The coloring is not overly bright that it is blinding, the muted tone lends it an air of somberness with a tinge of mystery. This image is a story in itself and one I do not think I will tire of looking at - I simply love it.
